Good points, Jack. Real freedom builds community while oppressive government builds government dependence. Easy to understand why Americans are being pushed in that direction now. It keeps us from uniting. As government becomes more oppressive there will be more individuals that will insist on strict obedience to their demands with a religious fervor. They will disrupt whatever attempts people make to unite.

You helped me see that more clearly now.
