What's the deal with metaphysics? I mean c'mon

Hey, I�m new here. Question of the day: Does the subject of UFOs and aliens always end up in a discussion of metaphysics? This frustrates me. I�ve done my best to learn all I can about the topic, however it seems I always wind up reading about breathing techniques and internal chakra.
