Don't they always release massive files and rarely if ever provide the code. When they do, isn't it always the same tired semi-relevant old news?

Ever notice how there is never anything critical of a particular nation?

Could it be insurance against the sentencing of Bradley Manning.
Isn't he awaiting sentence ?

Its not bloody poker! Why don't they just show us there hand and release the information?

Anything else and it looks like they have an ulterior motive.

Agreed! If they are about showing the truth, why hide behind it? It is almost like they are using it as a piece of information to trade if they get their way. It is kind of shady.

pretty sure they released an insurance file a long time ago..... definitely dont remember it being 400gb
and no they dont frequently release huge files with no way to open it
the idea behind the insurance file was that if anything happened to assange or action was taken against wikileaks in any major way a password would be automatically released and thousands of people would have access to the files (which apparently provide some pretty damning evidence of serious wrongdoing) and distribute them globally

yeah the ulterior motive is not being suicided and staying alive to raise awareness about things and enact change in a way that does not involve violence on a massive scale
