Being religious and being spiritual are two different things.
Sometimes people use the words interchangeably and use the word that doesn't really fit.

I'd say that if someone uses those two words interchangeably, they already don't know what spirituality means.

Religion is faux-spirituality in my opinion.

I can't help but agree.

If you think that a 3000 year old piece of literature can be used to kill, maim, hate or otherwise oppress other people, than you do have a mental illness.

Just because you think it's what God wants, doesn't make it any less insane.

Remember they are talking about fundamentalists. Not your mom and pop who attend church every week and hold moderate Christian or ( insert religion here) ideals.

- No.

..the latter are [spiritually] Dead already, anyway.

Please try see the larger Picture here -
you, as me, as all who read this thread, are Souls
...and about o get Imprisoned.
Deeply.
Totally.
Utterly.

- it really doesnt mátter, if a soul says now "oh but i dont believe that" does it.

Because groups of souls will chase the false preachers,
once they will understand they got Trapped in the coming dimension

shouting and cursing to him
"WHY you have not WARNED us for this Hell ....? "

you want to bet TTTP ?
play with your life ?

trust me - this *will* happen

i have SEEN

both the Hell
as the angry souls blaming the preachers
who should know better - but did not Care

....ofcóurse Evil uses the excessive examples of religious fundamentalism
to convince all the "logical, reasonable thinking population,
that anything Religious should be Removed from the face of the Earth"

.....really.

The goal is to get every Soul imprisoned lock stock barrel
as Evils tactic is:
to let humans imprison themSELVES

to let them walk to their own Slaughterhouse

.... i cannot believe, that you, as Moderator, take that stance.

dont you care for your own readers.....?

What does me being a moderator, have anything to do with my stance about religion and how fundamentalists who think they can harm other people have a mental illness?

Being Spiritual is not the same thing as being religious. I don't know very many spiritual people who would like to kill gay people, or prevent women from getting birth control or kill women for wearing shorts.

The rest of your post, well, I have no idea what you are talking about.

I am non-religious Agnostic. I don't believe God is a single parent who writes books.

to let them walk to their own Slaughterhouse

No. I will not stand idly by while psychos commit their lives to harming others in the name of their God. If they would like to discuss how bad people are in the name of God, that's fine, I have no issues with anybody having beliefs that don't line up with mine.

What I will not tolerate, is extremism and fundamentalism in any group of individual action.

I will not bow to the PC crowd of toleration in the face of oppression and violence.

you are soon about to See - with your own eyes -
exactly hów true that "3000 y old piece of literature" is.

...that same "3000 y old piece of literature" has warned you for what is to happen -
not because some deity needs to execute pathetic rule over you
- trust me: He really is not waiting for that -

but because He SAW the Hell souls will be in
in that horrible *cough* flower of life luciferian Prison

He composed that"3000 year piece of literature"
to make sure YOU be SAFE

...

People have been telling me that for 40 years my friend.

I'm not afraid of a piece of literature that's been re-written and re-printed more times than Lord Of The Rings, Twilight and Harry Potter combined.

A panel of psychologists are going to decide where to draw the line on what is 'fundamentalist' and what is 'okay'. And how long until they decide that mom and pop going to the Methodist church on main street USA is just 'fundamentalist light' and need help?

BTW .. I agree with you ... fundamentalists who use a book that was written hundreds or thousands of years ago as justification for murder .. they are sick idiots.

I see this a littler bit too much as using the term "mental illness" to tag a specific group. But when a case like the one that is been used in this happen, mental illness could be very much the reason for murder.

If a parent allow their child to die for lack of medical help due to believes in the supernatural, then that should be considered child abuse and the law should apply accordingly.

Still some people that are true believers can be in denial about how much their believes can affect another human being to cause death, then to me in this cases can be considered a Mental illness.

The only thing I don't agree is that a whole group of people be tagged for the mistakes of some.

And being "diagnosed" (charged or declared) as "mentally ill" then you can kiss your 2A rights away also.

as if ' religious fundamentalism appears in naiv people about some book'

...but this awful Matrix's " logical, reasonable *cough* reality" is the Trap !

you see - please ?

and
why you have so stubborn to oppose what i think is going to happen :
making myself a Fool for writing it -
well then i be that Fool -
but this Matrix will Close upon You Tenth

Yes i know there are drugs that do that.

But religion is free, non-prescribed, take anytime and how many times you want to... to top that off, they teach you at early age to take the drug known as religion.

My mom "kicked" me out of the house many times(during my teenage years) for talking against god, but im glad her motherly love for me was too strong it let it be consumed by her submission to god.

I thought about that one too, lately we have seen a lot of "possible tagging" coming from law enforcement and judges that very much could be in the same ban wagon as those trying to create certain ways to ban more and more of the population from their rights to the 2nd amendment.

Mental illness can span many ways.

I don't think all belief is considered fundamentalism. Fundamentalism, to me, is the dangerously religious. Muslim extremism, Christians who want to remove rights of non-Christians, those from any faith who endorse slavery, racial segregation, and ethnic superiority, like the Russian Neo Nazi groups that have been luring, beating, and murdering homosexuals.

If your religious affiliation encourages murder then your fundamentalism probably is representative of deeper psychological or mental instability. If, on the other hand, your religious affiliation allows for the free expression and practice of another's belief / non-belief, then you're probably not part of the problem, and are just fine.

My opinion at least.

Way past overdue.

I can't think of a second line that would not be seen as trolling, so I'll use this.

Why should anyone care? anyone reading this is already eligible for treatment under new guidelines. I see a true christian fundamentalist as someone who loves. Afterall that is the whole of the law. That could mean that all those churches that chose love over gender may need treatment.

Christians who want to remove rights of non-Christians,

Which Constitutional right do Christians want to prevent non-Christians from having?

And don't post an example of one Christian person. That would be using the extreme rare exception to define a rule, a huge fallacy.
