Actually, he comes to the same conclusion that most sensible folks do, there is no evidence for them, and a whole lot of evidence for contrails.

But here is a bit from his show:

Joe's first stop on the chemtrail conspiracy tour: Kristen Meghan. Umm...you guys. Do we think that's her real name? Regardless, she is a former Air Force Environmental Specialist, and she actually got into chemtrails to debunk them. In studying them, she started to see more things that supported the theories: a specific plane on base, excessive chemical deliveries, suspicious memos. Joe, due to titular obligations, asks her for some hard proof. She counters -- because it's run by the government/military, and attempt to photograph these things would earn you a gun in the back. Convenient. Joe pushes back -- whyfor art thou, weather tinkerers? Kristen thinks it started out as an experimental form of weaponry, and is now being used by people who have found a way to profit from it. Muahahaha. Next up, Joe chats with documentary filmmaker Michael Murphy. Michael tells Joe the chemicals being sprayed into the environment are thanks to a government/corporate conglomerate that is looking to control the weather for capital gain. Joe doesn't have to ask a question after that doozy, his face is all: say wha? Ever the professional though, Joe puts his look into words, saying that "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence," so basically put up or shut up, Mr. Murphy. Well, Michael does neither, and Joe moves on. The final stop on the chemtrail conspiracy tour: is to talk to meteorologist Scott Stevens, a man who's been suspicious of storms since the 90's. His belief? That it's the result of "chemtrails" -- a theory that supposes there are hidden chemicals in the white lines of smoke that trail behind airplanes. He's been taking time-lapsed videos of these alleged trails, and is going to show them to Joe...in his apparent bunker. Seriously, when was the last time you invited a guest inside and it involved you both jumping down a hatch? It doesn't exactly lend credence to the chemtrail theory, but we're still curious and so is Joe. After watching the video, Scott explains that chemtrails reorient clouds, thus engineering the weather. Joe asks him (nay, QUESTIONS) -- what does he say to airline pilots, who would describe the white trail phenomenon as jet turbines passing through levels of condensation? Well, Scott would say nothing to them -- because they don't want to talk about it. Suspicious! Sensing that he might be losing Joe (and us), Scott pulls out the big guns. An acronym, HAARP, or High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program. He suggests it's another tool in the government's "mess with the weather" box. Interesting, very, very interesting.

Sorry to burst the chemtrail bubble once more.

Way to go Joe.

JR should stick with UFC. He's a moron

That episode description makes it sound as though the entire premise of the show is to make fun rather than seek information.

As though all it is is half an interview followed by Rogan making a mocking gesture.

That's too bad. I was hoping for something along the lines of the way Conspiracy Theory was before it got all "Decoded" for the MSM.

It looks like if he picked a topic that had some sustenance, he might have done a bit better, but he may as well have went searching for proof of the Tooth Fairy.

I watched the show, I thought it was entertaining.

I have always been a skeptic of Chemtrails myself so...he did not say anything new for or against.

I was interested in his take on HAARP. I have always been a skeptic of that as well, however, I do read a little about harmonics and frequency resonance...so the conspiracy theory premise of HARRP is not totally bogus. It comes down to how much energy they can project as to whether they could cause resonance in faults that would then lead to rupture.

Not totally impossible...if you know the correct frequency...you can set up a resonance in an object. Once that resonance is achieved, it begins to store that energy and eventually it will rupture...just think of the musical tone that shatters a wine glass. If you could focus the right frequency at a high enough amplitude into a fault...you could cause it to pop...in theory anyway. When you have two object pressed together and building tension, it might only take a small vibration to cause a slight separation in the two surfaces and they slip and lurch. Don't get me wrong, I am not convinced they are doing this or can generate that much power...but it is not outside the realm of possibility if the conditions are right.

The sky quakes was pretty interesting as well. If they can focus that much energy into the ionosphere and get regions to start resonance...oh well...guess we shall see what the future holds.

I actually like Joe and some of his views...although not all.
He's a pretty good comedian and one helluva tough guy.

As for the contrail vs chemtrail debate...
It is pretty cut and dry to me because technically they are all chemtrails.
Only because the exhaust vapors from any internal combustion engine have loads of chemicals in them and are chock full of things like arsenic, CO, carbon and other nasty bits. Jet fuel isn't any better than regular gasoline.

Now, if there is a conspiracy to fill our skies with chemicals for an evil agenda...
Well I wouldn't doubt it. No one believed NSA really spied on the citizens either.
Look how that turned out.

I imagine that if there were planes devoted to just that cause, they would mix them in with normal air traffic. It anyone was truly interested in finding out if there are unmarked or untagged planes flying our skies, then that would be the first thing to investigate. Then possibly get samples tested and fully backed by concerned citizens.

So. If people are so worried about this then why hasn't anyone done this?

So on takeoff when you can't see the trails but they contain a lot more chemical because a lot more fuel is being burned - are they still chemtrails?

HAARP has also been a theory for mind control as it uses frequencies. Our brains use sound and vibrations so I can see this being true. Some people can feel the vibrations from crystals like myself it feels like a buzzing sensation when you hold it. I do think that HAARP is powerful enough to change peoples feelings and behaviour, there is so much negative energy these days. Also more HAARP devices are springing up in different countries too where the US government own the lands.

Edit: Sorry to OP if I went off topic and I do like your thread

If they were using regular jet exhaust to put chemicals into the atmosphere deliberately as you described, why would they invest billions in new type jet engines that only use combustion for 10% of the thrust with the other 90% coming from the surrounding air, in place of the old type Speys and JT-8's where it was 100% from combustion? Wouldn't these suit the purpose better?

In a sense...of the definition...yes.

I don't think you quite understood my post. Maybe I was too vague.
I'm saying that technically there's already a boatload of chemicals coming from the jet exhaust.
In essence, all exhaust vapors can be called "chemtrails" because of the harmful vapors being expelled that already contain nasty chemicals. They just happen to be visible in the sky for hours.
NOT that they are adding chemicals to fuel. Or anything like that.

If anyone stood behind an exhaust and inhaled the fumes/vapors coming off...they'd surely get poisoned.
Or possibly die.

Because the chemicals created from the process of fuel combustion are dangerous.

Maybe that helped out a bit.

I watched JR's show about Big Foot.... And at first I pondered.... WTH is he doing.... Isn't he supposed to be stalking "stare down's" in the UFC???

Then I thought about Jesse Ventura and his show on Conspiracy Theories....

I concluded that whether JR "know's" it or not he is playing the role of a disinformation agent for the "youger" generation. Please correct me if i'm wrong or am looking at this the wrong way...

Either way~ SnF Dude this made me

Cars and trucks and buses are producing chemtrails too then. How many people are dropping dead in the street and how many baggage handlers etc at airports?

(not that I'm saying the pollution is healthy)

Thank you for your clarification havok, but I did understand that you were talking about regular jet exhaust with nothing added, that was my point. In response to your point that it wouldn't surprise you if these exhaust chemicals were being used for a purpose, I was simply pointing out that modern engines make it ten times harder to achieve thanks to the way they work, whereas older turbojet type engines would soon fill the sky with exhaust chemicals.

Here is some real interesting news concerning Joe Rogan..

One of our own will be on his podcast discussing this very topic...I don't know when this episode will take place but Uncinus will be his guest.

thread should be moved to general chitchat if not straight to trash

Why is it you just can't seem to contribute to a thread except to toss out drivel?

Try this just once...

Deny Ignorance..

It really isn't that hard....

That should be a breath of fresh air. He isn't easily rattled and stays polite in some tough conditions.
It's just a shame that time even has to be wasted on this nonsense. There are so many things that exists, that need attention. Oh well, anything for the ratings.

As with anything, people have their own opinions. I like Joe and think he usually makes sense, though he tends to get too worked up about things. (bad for blood pressure) I think he is spot on with this topic. HAARP is not well understood and should be better explained. Chemtrails, well, them and unicorns get the same vote from me.

(IMHO)

roagan and his expert are freaking idiots.
when they said the guy's miniature harp experiment was bs because of his magnetic field generator was hot.
every one that ever dealt with electricity, knows that the equipment that generate magnetic field, gets hot.
i bet if you went to where harrp station is and stood by one of the field generators you could feel the heat with out touching it.

plus this shows is a lot worse than any other show of it's kind. at least the other shows try and find something ol joe just wants to make fun of it all.
