So im looking at your list and the Representative for my district is of course on it. And as much as I would like to vote her out of office for it, there isn't likely to be an alternative that doesn't want to write legislation on my reproductive organs. So please offer some advice on this one. Should I choose to go with the one that wants to take my birth control away, which will have serious complications to my reproductive health? Or should I vote for the one that gets their kicks listening to my rather uninteresting phone calls and internet usage?

Hate to say it but if I don't have my health I don't have anything. For the love of God will people start giving us real alternatives that we can elect to office please. And yes I am going to lay this predicament squarely on the Republicans. They are the ones that redrew the map to force Kucinich out of my district making the alternative to Kaptur, Joe the Plumber. Way to go, way to go.

Birth Control?....There is a very easy fix for that.

Your Liberty?...It's a hell of a lot more than phone and internet usage.

If it were me...I would put my civil rights before my reproductive health.

But, that's just my opinion.

Enjoy your free birth control and don't mind the police state we are now living in. Glad to know your vote can be so easily bought.

It would be interesting to see this list including how much each received in political donations from the likes of BAE, MITRE, Boeing, Raytheon etc. How much you wanna bet that more of that money went to the Ayes?

Is anyone here able to gather that info? Not sure where to start myself but that would make a GREAT post!!!

I LOVE how you assume the poster you are responding to is referencing free birth control. I for one, pay $150 every three months for my birth control, in cash. And I still don't want it taken away from me. I must be nuts huh.

Do you live in the states? If you do, it should be free now. One of your benefits of the ACH. I'm certainly not proposing that birth control be outlawed, nor is any other sane person so stop being cheeky and creating these false issues.

Read up a bit before insulting people, and I mean that kindly.

I do live in the states, and no, it isn't free, and no, it won't BE free. No one is getting free healthcare. You can pay a monthly premium or you can pay a penalty tax. Nothing is free to anyone making any kind of money. Welfare recipients maybe but since I'm not one, I don't know.

Well I guess I've been misinformed by all of my friends who have told me that they no longer pay a co-pay for their birth control, unlike most all other prescriptions. I use condoms so I would not know.

So what are the other ladies here finding? Co pay or no more co-pay???

LOVE how you edited your post, making yourself look even worse. Too bad I caught it in my post above.
In three posts you've managed to make an assumption and then insult a fellow ATSer, then try and bust an edit before you could get quoted, not to correct your negative behavior, but to add more negativity....

Best of luck to you.

I don't get your implication about my posts at all. My post is quite clear and it stands.

Free birth control (outlawing it is a total non-issue and we all know that) or living in a police state.

Gee what a tough choice.

Good luck to you because you apparently need to even think about that one.

I'll try one more time, since maybe I wasn't clear.

My original complaint to you was that you made an assumption and then you insulted a fellow poster here. It had nothing to do with living in a free state or a police state, but with your assumption and subsequent insult.

There is no "tough choice" between "free birth control" and "living in a police state."

Birth control = not free.

The only person talking about choosing between a police state and free birth control, is you.

With sincerity, good luck.

oh my god. i feel betrayed. three of my four representatives are on the list. the only one not on the list is the most corrupt sob ive ever known: benny thompson. hes also the only democrat from my state. im a little surprised to see three republicans in favor of this invasion of privacy. i usually think of democrats when i think of big brother nanny states
but yes i know the parties are a joke to keep us distracted like rasslin, football or soap operas
