These are just a few of many warning signs that have come and gone. Many of them are current events. I am Christian but this by no means is against any other Religion. I have learned that many others have the same signs, including Jewish, Muslim and more just with a different twist on the events and what they may mean to each culture. As much as we would all love to see World peace in the Middle East it’s highly unlikely. There will be a time of Global Peace in that region but the War of Gog and Magog will ensure this, nothing else. It will be temporary. Is this the generation that lives to see these things come to pass? I think so.

In light of the events that are happening in numerous categories (economics, natural disasters, etc.) on a global scale, the Lord’s return within the 80 years from the reestablishment of Israel in 1948 appears almost certain. Nevertheless, no matter when the Lord returns, occupy until He does and tell others the good news of the gospel. Heed Jesus’ warning:

A generation is the lifetime of a person and that is on average between seventy or eighty years. Thus, according to the above considerations we could write out our equation in the following manner:

But the ultra-wealthy don't just sit on all of that wealth. They use some of it to dominate the affairs of the nations. The ultra-wealthy own virtually every major bank and every major corporation on the planet.

They use a vast network of secret societies, think tanks and charitable organizations to advance their agendas and to keep their members in line. They control how we view the world through their ownership of the media and their dominance over our education system.

They fund the campaigns of most of our politicians and they exert a tremendous amount of influence over international organizations such as the United Nations, the IMF, the World Bank and the WTO. World Bank, International Monetary Fund, United Nations and central banks.
But as I mentioned previously, the global elite just don't have a lot of money. They also basically own just about every major bank and every major corporation on the entire planet. Sadly, most Americans still believe that the Federal Reserve is a "federal agency", but that is simply not correct. The following comes from factcheck.org...

All of this also is similar to another U.S. Air Force-developed weapon based on a type of radar called the active electronically scanned array, or AESA.

The Fig Tree Has Budded - Evidence The Lord May Return This Generation

Concerning the time of the Lord’s return, Jesus’ disciples asked him: “what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?” (Matthew 24:3b ESV). Jesus then began to describe the many things that would precede His second coming – many of which are being fulfilled before our eyes.

Jesus said “For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many,” (Matt 24:5). Some of the most notable are Sun Myung Moon, founder of the Unification Church and David Koresh of the Branch Davidian religious sect, Ariffin Mohamed from Malaysia and Sergei Torop from Russia.

He then spoke of wars, rumors of war and nation against nation.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Knowing the Times and Seasons

Paul, in his letter to the Thessalonians wrote that believers could and should know the times and seasons of the Lord’s (second) coming since they were not in the darkness like others.

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness,” (I Thessalonians 5:1-5, emphasis mine).

Birth Contractions

Jesus likened all of the events mentioned above to birth pains by saying: “All these are but the beginning of the birth pains,” (Matthew 24:8). Just like for a woman in labor, the contractions will get closer and closer until finally the child is born, so it is if we were to consider today’s events in terms of giving birth, we might say that prophetically all that is left is to push the baby out. All that the Lord had said so far (discussed above) was a response to the disciples’ question “what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near–at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place, (Matthew 24:32-34, emphasis mine).

The Fig Tree Is Israel

There are two obvious questions concerning this parable: who or what is the fig tree and how long is a generation? The answer to the first question is unmistakably Israel. God clearly compares Israel with a fig tree. The following verses are given in chronological order.

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstfruits on the fig tree in its first season, (Hosea 9:10, emphasis mine).

Here God compares Israel to grapes and the fathers to fruits of the fig tree. Then in Joel He speaks of “my land” as being comparable to “my fig tree” again showing that Israel (both ethnically/nationally and geographically) is symbolized as a fig tree. On May 14, 1948 Israel (the fig tree) declared independence and then was ratified as a nation by edict of the United Nations and literally was born in one day. 1948 becomes the year by which a generation can be measured against.

Early Christian Commentary Confirms Israel is the Fig Tree

Getting a “second opinion” is always advisable when there is a lot riding on a decision or when contemplating a new perspective. Thus investigating what early Christians thought about the fig tree parable would seem prudent. An early Christian writing, the Apocalypse of Peter, clearly identifies the fig tree as Israel and the time of its budding as the time of the end. While we do not consider extra-biblical sources to be Scripture, they can occasionally serve as a type of commentary from early Christians. Scholars generally accept a date of composition around A.D. 135. Which Generation?

So you also, when you see all these things, know that itis near – at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place, (Matthew 24:33-34, emphasis mine).

The generation spoken of here must be the generation that would see all of the things that Jesus spoke of when the disciples questioned Him and specifically it would be the generation that would see the “fig tree budding”. Since we have seen that the fig tree was Israel in both the prophets and according to Jesus, then “this generation” must be the one that began at the commencement of the new state of Israel.

Thus we see Israel was a dried tree for about 1900 years and then miraculously the branch put forth leaves in one day on May 14, 1948. Jesus told us that when this happens His return is at the doors. He said that the generation that saw this would by no means pass away.

"Creating a new constitution, if necessary, can only be the absolutely final step and therefore never a 'foundation stone' in the construction of a new European statehood but, rather, always only the 'keystone,'" stressed constitutional law expert Hans-Peter Schneider in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.

Still, getting to the keystone stage could take some time -- even if the crisis calls for determined action. In order to put some teeth into EU policies aimed at better combating the financial and economic crises, there needs to be a new agreement -- or, better yet, a constitution.

European Justice Commissioner said that such a constitution would have to be ratified by referendums in all EU countries. And that includes Germany.

It might be the end of religion as humanity has practiced it but that do not mean everything is doom and gloom. The change is still occurring. The birth of an age is gradual but there could be a massive event change like the french revolution/Berlin wall coming. Full disclosure from external sources like Aliens and spiritual entities are also possible. Just because it is limited to single individuals now days do not mean it will always be. The "generation" since 1948 calculation may be reasonably accurate.

I don't know.

I've said to myself . . . that 125 years after 1948 would be a rather outside limit, imho.

We do have some living almost that long now.

I'm reminded of Simeon was it . . . who saw baby Jesus as he'd prayed to be able to see the Messiah--and he saw Him on His way to be dedicated in the Temple . . . just before Simeon died.

I think things are advancing at a faster and faster pace that will almost HAVE to peak and culminate well before 2073!

I certainly expect to see more of such events than I ever wanted to see!

I thought I would show you something that supports your timeline here.

The curse of Malachi.

I ran across this accidentally a few years back so here's what to look at.

Malachi 4
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Matthew 17
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

So according to Jesus Christ the first century Jews managed to trigger this curse. And working out the details I figured out what the curse was. A top level Leviticus 26 curse. But then I also ran across the timeline of the curse. And it's here in Hosea.

Hosea 6
1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

If you read 2nd Peter 3-8 you would know that those days are thousand year periods of time. So what Hosea is telling us is that Israel was to be cursed for two thousand years. Followed by a thousand year "day of Jezreel" as Hosea puts it.

So if this curse is the curse of Malachi then the 2000 year curse started at the death of John the Baptist in the 20's AD. Putting the end of the curse in the 2020's. Assuming 80 years for the "generation" of Matthew 24 then the curse and the generation end somewhere between 2025 and May 15th 2028. Assuming according to verse 24-6 that the end couldn't have started during WW2. And verse 14 is the kickoff for the generation.

So working backwards.
2022 to 2025 the Antichrist comes to power.
2018 to 2021 the 7 year agreement is signed
2011 to 2021 is the time period the Gog-Magog attacks happen. The 3rd temple is built. And the 2nd branch of Zechariah makes his appearance. To build the temple. Also a witness of Revelation according to Rev. 11 and Zechariah.

All things considered I would say it's looks like Tornado weather out there.

OOPS please dont think I'm trying to be a prophet; or false one. That was a scary thought! I just look at the warning signs that are mentioned in the Bible. A Muslim on here once told me they have the same warning signs as Christians.

Ive been around here for a long time and i knew in advance that any Bible thread would not be popular. Any time I do similar ones it somehow draws out all the atheists. The guy upstairs likes those guys too.

I'm hoping to get some feed back from other religions to compare notes and wake up those who dont see what is happening with current events.

I dont consider the information, as guff; however I do believe it. The date isnt 100% accurate. I first thought that a generation could be considered 50 years. Many Bible scholars disagree on what a generation is. The second coming will occure around 1 generation after Israel regains it's homeland. That happened May 14th 1948.

Thank you for adding the extra Knowledge. I could have been on here for days mentioning all of these things that have came to pass. We have all the components ready to begin living in the digital age to have a one world government, anti-christ, mark of the best, etc, etc.

Yes i also have alternate dates in mind. In honesty I still think it may happen as soon as 2016 due to my research of the Hebrew calendar. It's somewhat complicated but it involves the Jewish Jubilee and 7 year intervals. Since 2009 came and went it's a date I have my eye on, and moreso than 2018.
