I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about the new PS2 that came out? It was supposed to have come out November 1st across the nation in the U.S. I've read that its less than 1/3 the size of the current PS2, and it is half the weight. It has the PSone-style flip-top instead of a motorized disc tray. It has the network port and modem built-in. Keeps the IR remote sensor. You will need a new MultiTap and the Hard Disk Drive bay has been removed

And does anyone have one yet?

Yeah, my friends brother bought one. It is smaller then a normal PS2, and just a little bigger then an X-BOX controller, so it's still pretty big. I would rather have this one then my big PS2.

I got one the day it was released. I like it a lot.

Plus, this PS2 is a lot quieter, and COMES with integrated ethernet and dial-up ports! Yay!

I can now play Star Wars Battlefront online! (and SOCOM 2, also)

Can't wait for a slimmed down XBOX!

The only bad thing i can say about this is the hard drive (or lack of it) i wish ther was a way they could put a micro drive in it where we could play FFXI or store games on it
