Singapore has been dealing with a huge air quality issue.

It's bad,very bad.

The have hit a 16 year high in air pollutant levels, mostly due to fires burning on Sumatra Island,in the peatlands.

They're solution is to use cloud seeding technology to help produce more rain over the area to help put out these fires.

Can I see a show of hands that thinks this will somehow screw up weather somewhere else?Floods, droughts.
They need to leave the weather alone, and sort it out in a different way.

I've always been a firm believer that weather modification is a bad idea.

Although it may be beneficial to the region performing the modification, its my understanding that all weather has a butterfly effect on other regions.

Weather in India could have an effect on North America.

So, I'm with you on this one.
to weather modification.
