Turkish Protests: Another Communist Driven Attempt To Destroy Western Civilisation

I took the time to get spooled up on the events in Turkey. The violent clashes between police and protestors is very reminiscent of the OWS protests here in the US, and many left wing communist and socialist protests in the west in General. As Turkey is a very westernized and modern nation, it is no surprise to me that communist and socialist provocateurs would eventually attempt to establish a beachhead there.

They have been doing this across Europe, the US, and they have been doing this in the Middle East for some time. But lets let the Images do the talking here:







There are thousands more pictures like this coming out of Turkey. And I'm sure as the violence gets worse, and as the information begins to flow we will all be told the same things we were told about Egypts protests, or the protests in Syria, or the protests in Libya. That this is simply the people speaking out and not a power grab by socialists, communists, and Islamic extremists who are working together as they all have one common enemy. Western civilisation and capitalism.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Al Qaeda in Syria and Libya, Communists and socialists in Europe and America, FUNDING them and providing material support in the name of the "oppressed".

I'm not saying the guys who were once in power were good guys. No one who holds on to power for a lifetime is good in my eyes. But that is the crux of the issue. These people mean to usurp power from dictators and supplant that power with their own version of dictatorship. In places like Turkey many of the same forces that aided the Muslim Brotherhood, the father of Al Qaeda, are also aiding communist protests in Turkey. And many of these forces are based right here in the US and Europe.

These connections have been made over and over again. We've seen this play out over and over again over the last few years. It will continue to get worse. And we will continue to be told that it's all in our heads. That there are no communists vying for power, and that what is happening in the ME is not connected. I beg to differ.

Libya was a coup, Qaddafi had pushed the so called rebels to the Egyptian border then NATO comes in to save the day.

Syria is far from a popular uprising. While I do agree that they had right to stand up and call for freedom, this minority of protesters were quickly overwhelmed by gun totting islamists and gangster thugs that took over the revolution and created the notorious FSA militia.

I have researched deep into the FSA, they are liars, rapists, looters, killers, and criminals, with 1 good person in 1000. Since day one these thugs have shot at protesters and blamed the Syrian Police.

Erdogan clearly supported these thugs, while criticizing Assads method of dealing with protesters. If Assad was half as bad as Erdogan, then he would have sent his agents to shoot at Turkish protesters and blame the turkish police to further escalate the problem.

Mr Assad knows he doesnt need to do that, the Turkish police are brutal as they are, if only we saw what they used to do to the Kurds, there are videos on yotuube and they are not for the soft hearted!

For generations Turkey’ safety valve against the kind of totalitarian seen in the Islamic world was a disciplined military that didn’t hesitate to ouster a government that strayed from Attaturk’s secular vision of a modern Turkish state. With the armed forced neutered by Erdogan, that safety is gone. The results will be predictable.

In what terms> predictable?
Bloody civil war?
Violent put downs of the demos....?
Sharia law declared?

The Muslim Brotherhood is suggesting that they can step in and transform the Egyptian government into a stable country under a form of Islamic Socialism and they are providing support to the student protestors and youths that are filling the streets.

They(Muslim Brotherhood/Erdogan) don't want secularism. The protesters in Turkey do.

I guess it has finally come down to the factions of Islamic and Secular socialism in the ME fighting it out. Make no mistake, this is being engineered.

Hardcherry of Blogoncherry points out a link between this system and communism: A number of Orientalists alsobelieve that there is a relationship between Islamic economics and communism, such as the idea of riba and zakat.

The emergence of the Muslim Brotherhood to establish a government run not by democracy but by Islamic control has taken a couple of twists.

First, the Islamic Brotherhood is interlinked with the terrorist group Hamas, since Hamas actually grew out of the Islamic Brotherhood.

Second, socialist supporters are providing world-wide support in terms of protests (i.e. the recent pro-Egyptian-people, not pro-Egyptian-government, protests in the United States), socialist web sites and signs with socialist URLs being carried by some Egyptian protesters.

International socialist and communist organizations are influencing events in the Middle East. They may have found a partner in the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, but since the European and American communists are largely secular, it would make sense that there would be a split in support between these two factions in Turkey.

Leftist symbolism at protests does in no way provide substantial proof that this is an event staged by "International Communism." Your entire thread is stupid, and you are not informed as to the reality of Turkey.

Turkey in theory has a secular governmental system, and has since the early 1900s. However, in practice, it's government is not secular, but rather it is an Islamic government. It has for example, introduced extremely restrictive alcohol consumption laws www.guardian.co.uk...

Theres two factors behind these protests in my view:

1) Turkey has paid off all its debt to the IMF. Just like Romania did in the late 80's. a couple months later street protests turned to clashes and the overthrow of the government.

2) These protest groups are being hijacked by other groups. namely the Kurds and the Armenians. In cities all over the world that support these groups, Kurdish flags are being flown, pictures of Kurdish terrorists are pictured.


This has nothing to do with any student environment protests as it may have begun as.

This is about bringing the Erdogan government down.....

it would sure creat a totally different atmosphere in the mideast should that happen.

This is all part of the plan.

How about the Turkish government helping the Syrian Rebels build car bombs. The Syrian Rebels then drove the cars back across the border into Turkey and used them instead of driving them to the Syrian Capital. A Turkish Military Officer leaked all the documents he had showing Turkey was helping them to target Syria but it back fired.

There's not been reports yet of AKP offices being stormed or their members being killed, but what the Turkish and Egyptian secular movements do have in common are lurking not very far in the background: secular, Western-facing, authoritarians - the kind who have been the region's biggest oppressors and the main facilitators of outside access and exploitation. Without a unifying vision or organisational structures of some kind, the vibrant youthful energy that drives these uprisings and which we celebrate will dissipate and these old guard forces will take the lead of the opposition block once more.

So do you think we should look into any Turkish Professor in California as the next President of Turkey? The President of Egypt came straight from California as a Professor. His family is still there.

But it seems to me that these players take advantage of the chaos to usurp the country. Several attempts have been made to hijack many causes from around the world.

From the evils of an unaccountable Wall St. in the US, to the fight between secularism and Islamist rule in Turkey.

hokay, this gonna be a little too long but;

i'm hollering right from the middle of the protests which are on their 18th day thus far. although it was a civil resistance aiming at preventing gezi park from demolition and protecting the green, it was the police who ignited the first spark by attacking the peaceful protesters while throwing gas bombs at them.

erdogan's and his govt. have been in charge for over 10 years by now and it is not only us, the turkish people who are truly fed up with his increasingly dictator-like authoritarian style, nepotism, censorship and oppressive politics in an effort to shove his religious views and values down our throats, but also a large part of the rest of the world, particularly western democracies.

i can only tell you that the new, young generation born in the 90's have finally found the courage to stand up for a pluralist democracy where erdogan's attempts to provoke his proponents (mainly made up of business circles with privileged tender awards) with blatant lies and slander are at a dead end because unlike in the past, even a considerable portion of his very voters choose to disbelieve such bull (alleged group sex and booze party in the mosque as well as an attack on a lady wearing a headscarf), and are taking side with the protesters.

the imam of the mosque in question has been dismissed just because he denied the whole slander campaign and proved the truth that the mosque had opened its doors to protesters who were injured, and were given treatment and shelter. the father of the lady with the scarf also denied the whole story, and there's a large number of young women wearing headscarves and protesting alongside with the people in taksim.

his most recent wrong was to name the 3rd suspended bridge over the bosphorus after the ottoman emperor t. sultan selim han on the exact anniversary of the latter's massacre of the alevis. in the eyes of many, erdogan is a pro sunni, anti democratic, radical leader in an attempt to clear up his road for presidency and a new constitution to change the regime as person in the guise of a modern country's pm.

erdogan's arguments about the protests couldn't get funnier as he claimed that there was the global "interest lobby" behind, which was a wrong translation he addressed for the global finance institutions in general.

the whole country is protesting the government with pots and pans from 9.00 to 10.00 pm, and small protests are held at individual blocks and neighborhoods.



the fact that the mainstream media kept silent about the cruel attacks on the protesters from the very beginning was yet another solid proof of erdogan's oppression on the mass media.

the point of the protests is erdogan's interventions to our fundamental rights, and his stubborn style of politics which ignores and disregards any public opinion, which is reminiscent of a dictatorship. we want to live in a country where we can voice our opinions and where our preferences and lifestyles are not engineered and tampered with no matter if we are religious, atheists, sunna, alevi, gay or lesbian or hetero, we want a truly western style democracy, that's the deal.

we also want the recent explosions in hatay, reyhanli to be clarified and to keep the syrian opposition off our territory down there.

eta: erdogan started a witchhunt on lawyers and have them arrested by the cops in a very cruel manner, the same witchhunt is now addressing the union of doctors just because they volunteered for the treatment of the injured. he wants to crush down not only democracy and human rights, but apparently, also justice.

last minute: after the government made a call to the parents of the youth on site of gezi to take their children back home, a lot of mothers rushed in and joined the protests by forming a circle around the protesters to protect them, go figure. communist attempt, yea true, hehe.

all in all, turkey is on the brink of a change for good (and hopefully for the better).

not just. we're really fed up with it. no matter what, governmental power should not be held by a single person, let alone for a period over 10 years. the 50% / 50% voters story is completely bull, anonymous are about to prove what kind of cheats were run in the ballot box.

last minute update: the police forces violently attacked the peaceful protesters camping in the park and kept on sprinkling water containing a strange chemical on everyone including children and babies.
