Doesn anyone have any information on US attempts to produce super-cavitating projectiles.
I hear they have been studying russian designs. I think the Russians had one operational design called the " Shturm ". However it was unguided as a cavity is formes around the weapon that prohibits the use of fins. It's speed is also reputedley to be around the 300 knot mark.
Anyway any information would be appreciated.

yep its true the U.S.A its trying to improve is ADCAP torpedos with a new super-cavitation technology " Some intel i had acess to say that the same kind of technology was being used in a live fire exercise when the famous Kursk went down ....
