I am so excited my fellow ATS brothers and sisters.
I am finally making some headway towards a new career.
And I have advice for anyone seeking employment at this
time. Right now, even if you have no drivers license at all,
you can be accepted. I was convicted of a felony back in
95 and told the truth about it. It was such a bogus charge.
England accepted me any way. So this coming Monday I
start my training. And in three weeks I'll be earning a
paycheck, seeing a lot more of this gigantic beautiful
country and Canada.
So if you need to start a career with a grand Co. ?
Now is most definitely the time to break into trucking as
they are waiving tuition this Tuesday only and payback
with 9 mos of completion of your training. i took the deal
and you should to if you're unemployed. So any body want
to talk about C.R. England Trucking. Because I sure in the
hell do.

I am so stoked.

Here's the online place to start.

I am so stoked.

That's so awesome, Randy, I am really happy for you. What an exciting time to be working in that field. Makes me wonder what kinds of exciting new digital technology you will encounter.

P.S. That's also great news about the waver of the tuition fees, and quite significant considering the cost and that it is one of the country's most reputable providers. Reefer, dude!

You guys man, thank you both so frigging much. I have happy tears right now like a mother at her daughters wedding. I can hardly believe it. It's been the longest dry spell without work for me that I never even imagined
could ever happen in America. I'm so smart only because I kept my driving record clean of accidents and DUIs.
3 weeks in their program and on lock down, but I can do that standing on my head.

Don't do it.
I am a trucker, and have heard horror stories about cr England.
When you have your license and your training is complete, they force you to lease a truck.
Weekly payments around $350.
Insurance. $$$
Fuel. $$$$$$$$
Permits$$$$$$
You will end up owing them money at the end of the week.

If you don't lease a truck you don't work.

Get your license on your own.
And go somewhere where you can work without a contract.

I started at Werner enterprises.
They hire anybody.

Now i'am at FedEx ground working for an independent contractor, grossing $1250 a week.
Home everyday, off on the weekends.

I strongly warn against cr England.
Truckers talk a lot, and cr England probably has the worst reputation on the road.
And they mostly run reefers. Which means you will be sitting idle most of the time.
Remember drivers get paid by the mile. Not by the hour.

Really ! Leasing a truck is the last thing I'm going to do. I'll burn their damn school down.

Kidding of course. But I'll be sure to talk to my recruiter about this today. I'm supposed to call her
today. Thanks for the heads up amigo !

Well this is exactly why I posted here. Now I have the upper hand and will be able to walk away tuition free
with training and license intact. No pay back if that's how they're going to be ? But I have to get the training
so I'm sure I'll move forward.

Thank you everybody. For warned is for armed.

All right people here's an update on Randy's situation.

I know I was supposed to go to Swift trucking school . Well actually
I started out with C.R. England but had to wait a year which is why
this thread posted first. But now, a year later, after finally putting up
with to much crap from Swift. I've just now completed my first week
at C.R. England. It's much closer to home and Thursday I passed my
first test to get my learners permit. Monday we begin training in the
yard and move on to the road.

So there's an up date for all you good people who have encouraged
me to do well. Prolly be team driving and the instructor who is a very
great man IMO. Says I should see fifty to seventy thousand my first year.

Looks like Randy may be headed out of the woods at last my fellow
members. As you may suspect, I'm very excited. I told the DMV test
presenter, I wanted to kiss her when she said I'd past. I'm stoked
that I' m going to be provider again finally.
