HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG!!!! IF YOU BREAK INTO SOMEONES HOUSE YOU ALONE ACCEPT WHAT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU

I guess the problem with this story is the man was relatively safe in his closet - if the robbers were going to harm him, surely they would have done so at the start?
He busted out and exchanged shots - he could easily have been killed, for what? The possessions in his home?
Surely the most sensible option would have been to arm himself but stay in the closet. Avoiding the risk of death, but also being in a great position if they attempted to harm him during the process.
I'm all for self defence, but was this guy acting in self defence?

This just goes to show, there are some pretty dumb criminals out there.

Thanks for posting, I love hearing about citizens taking the situation in their own hands and reversing the tables on the criminals!
They are lucky they were pushed in the closet where they store their guns though, I'm glad the home owner had the courage to do something too.

Indeed... the smart ones wear fancy suits, drive big cars and have a real big office, not to speak of their annual income, which is more than the common man earns in a lifetime.

Myself, I'd just have used the 5 different fighting styles I've learned to beat the crap out of my assailants -- cuz I'm a real man. No offense. You have to work with what you got. So if you need a gun -- more power to you.

Maybe only 1 of them was armed. Even if the other 3 were also armed, that doesn't necessarily mean that they actually wanted to shoot someone.

Yeah, gotta cherish these 1 in a million stories! Forget all those people who just called 911 and took all the fun out of it.

>> I'm sure NRA patriots will have this story laminated so they can appreciate it with a box of tissues and lotion.
I wonder how many walls those bullets could go through?
A gun is for shooting people. You take a gun with you to invade someone's home, because you are ready to kill someone if necessary to get their property.

The poor CRIMINALS were not thinking about hurting anyone... they just wanted to strip clean this man of the possessions he got through his hard work, that's all.
If a criminal is armed and enters my home I am not going to ask "are you going to hurt me or my family?"... My weapon will do the talking, thank you very much.
It has actually been proven that when a citizen is armed it stops criminals on their tracks most of the time because they don't expect anyone to confront them. The criminals think the citizens will play nicely along cowering from them...
There are plenty of cases like this one, when a group of armed criminals try to rob even a store, and a concealed weapon carrier pulls out his gun and shoots at the robbers making them run away.
Criminals also have the fight or flight response when they see their life in danger.
Just because they are criminals doesn't mean they are "bad a$$"
