Demolition experts in Australia were forced to bring in excavators to help demolish a building on Sunday after a controlled explosion failed to bring it down.




I hadn't seen this posted yet.
Luckily it was only a silo with nothing else around it. Very interesting how it just remained at a tilted angle for 40 minutes.

Hmmm.. Was this because they were trying to save money on the explosives, or because someone hadn't done their homework on the use of them???!!!

Wow! Whatever it was that stopped the motion and then held it had some serious tensile strength. It was probably a pvc waterline that they had to break off . Hahaha.

Would have loved to have seen the guy in charge face when it just " stayed" at that angle hehe
