I think you misunderstand. I affect them just by coming near them, (if off, they come on, if on, they go off). But, if I use directed thought, then I can make them fo off or on repeatedly.

I'd have to disagree with concentration affecting psi abilities negatively...as it's the only way I've ever seen any visible results....(for me at least). When concentrating, I try to envision the energies of whatever it is I'm trying to manipulate, and use that as the "source". As I mentioned, the results have been negligable, but noticeable. The reason I still practice it is simple...even though I may not be able to do much, I like to keep the "muscle" working so to speak. Who knows? Maybe my children will be able to flex the muscle more, or their children, and so on.

Found the CNN article on SLIDERs, and affecting street lights. A little vindication for some of us...

This is it ! I got the same type of ability, but most of the time I use it on cops radios and talky-walky, cellular phones, radio...

I actually originally saw it as a news story on CNN, and I jumped for joy! Official recognition of the phenomenon! Was a pain to dig it up though...luckily I remembered the slider acronym, and searched for that in CNN's site only (the web search would just show sites about the tv show)....

It is not safe to do ESP experiments with people you do not really know.
I have natural psi abilities...probably a result of having an alien walk-in soul. I still have to be careful.
BTW, my boyfriend has the same psi abilities. If he were here, he would not allow me to participate in psi experiments on a message board.

Anyway, ESP are not safe. For your boyfriend , maybe there is some kind of '"mystical link" between you and him, so I understand that he can feel touch in his privacy if you are involved in some ESP experiment without him...

The researches I want to drive are important for me, because I'm psychic and it's not so an advantage in current life. And I'm also sure that ESP's will be more and more in use in XXI century warfare.

My boyfriend and I have intense connections on a psychic level. Also, he works for the Federal Government.
Anything he feels I get, and vice-versa. His job keeps him traveling, so ESP is the way we keep in touch.
He's a TREMENDOUS psychic. I guess participating in ESP experiments would get in the way of our connection.

It is still advisable for other people to be careful with ESP on the 'Net.

I have this book i bought while back...called "DICSOVER YOUR PSYCHIC POWERS" a practical guide to psychic development and spiritual growth..by Tara Ward...i have not read it mostly because i never had the time with school and all.....but it teaches you how to develop these powers to great extent...thiers alot about how to read auras, karma charkas and even Chi, healings, how to read tarot etc...thiers alot in it.ands its quite interesting. i was watching the X-files last night...has anyone seen the episode with Anothony, he can make things appear by just thinking about them, people, places, objects....i know its just a show....but do you think its really possible that someone can have that much power?....it would defy physics...

You miss a little bit the point. I dont want to make an experiment but simply a study about ESP, probably with testimony and interview...

Most psychics I know consider it an invasion of privacy to "get into someone's energy" without their permission.
I never turn on my psi abilities without permission, and never on a message board.

this can happen spontaneously. i could be watching tv & wonder what this actor is like in real life. no heavy concentration. then all of a sudden, i would see this person at their home & sense what their real personality is like.

so i don't spend a great deal of time doing this kind of thing. i have better things to concentrate my energies on.

but when it's spontaneous, it's spontaneous. you can't do anything about it unless you stop thinking altogether. of course that's an impossible feat unless you're a vegetable.

Spontaneously, yes, but I don't "zoom in" deliberately.
