Cooper actually retracted all his statements on UFOs and came to the conclusion that he was being fed disinfo by the government. Many years before his death he publicly stated, and wrote OFTEN he dosn't believe in aliens.
In fact, he was the loudest voice on "aliens being Satanic demons here to kill us all" and/or "government false flag hoaxes being used to usher in the new world order.
He also used to beat his wife a lot...drink even more...get caught in a lot of lies...and of course talk about "people who claim to be in touch with aliens as being crazy".
But you knew that? Since yknow...he is your hero...this is your thread...and you are an alien...so...yknow?
Anyways...I am right now listening to all the Conference that I can find. I will return with a blow-by-blow tale to tell of it all.
But while I'm busying yknow, researching this and listening to the clips that "you admit to not having time to watch while you google and post Bill Cooper vids instead"

Edit : I've got to admit that I've just gone back and looked at Passport To Magonia to realize one of my mistakes : I had the work of Vallee mixed up with John Keel's Ultraterrestrial Theory in my head. So yes, I hold my hands up and admit that I have misrepresented Vallee there to a degree. I forget how bad my memory is and how long I've been away from researching this area now.

That is not Bill Cooper in that audio. The speech is articulated very differently. The voice is different.
The Bill Cooper in the video utters "um..." all the time. The person speaking in the audio doesn't.
Bill Cooper makes the specific point that the stuff he writes about can be easily found in the public domain and libraries. That he doesn't need to use the documents he saw while holding a Top Secret Clearance.
The "Bill Cooper" in the audio talks about the Iron Mountain document and says "I don't know where you can find it...". It doesn't fit.

First I would like to thank the ATS member FORMe2p00p0n for posting links to the youtube clips of the audio for the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure. It is his links I am using to listen to what I am about to comment on.
Ok...lets go.
This comes from the second day of the hearing, and it is about 2 hours worth of talking on what UFO researchers call the Rendlesham Forest Incident.
The incident reportedly happened in the December of 1980 at RAF Woodbridge base (used by the U.S at that time) in Suffolk England. It is considered (even by me) to be one of the largest and most interesting documented cases in UFO history, with more evidence and documentation then the Roswell incident (as happening more recently). Earning it the often used title of "The Britain's Roswell".
The case goes as such- Sgt. John Burroughs says for three nights UFOs were seen over the base for three nights straight with multiple witnesses within the base stating seeing them. These reports were documented by radar and eye witnesses.
But the big event was on 26 December Around 3 a.m, when strange lights were reported by a security patrol near the East Gate coming down from the sky into the forest outside the gate. Witnesses on base thought it was a downed aircraft and went to investigate. On arrival Sgt. Jim Penniston said he saw a metallic craft, with colored lights, dripping what looked like hot metal.
Its important to note that Penniston didn't mention this craft until years later and the initial report didn't contain his witnessed account.
Shortly after 4 a.m. local police were called to the scene but reported that the only lights they could see were those from the Orford Ness lighthouse, some miles away on the coast. Many till this day say that is the answer to this entire event. A lighthouse being mistaken for a UFO.
The following morning- eyewitness and Deputy Base Commander Colonel Charles Halt went to the scene with servicemen. They took readings with radiation detectors and detected higher levels of radiation than should be present. These readings are highly disputed.
During this reading, Holt saw lights across the field (towards the lighthouse). And Halt says he saw starlike lights in the sky beaming lights to the ground. He recorded his reaction on a voice recorder.
The first real piece of public evidence was a memorandum to the Ministry of Defence. Known as the "Halt memo", this was made available publicly in the United States under the US Freedom of Information Act in 1983.

Over time more witnesses came forward. They are Col. Halt by Fred A. Buran, 81st Security Police Squadron, Airman First Class John Burroughs, 81st LE, Airman Edward N. Cabansag, 81st Security Police Squadron, Master-Sergeant J. D. Chandler, 81st Security Police Squadron and Staff-Sergeant Jim Penniston, 81st Security Police Squadron. Colonel Ted Conrad.
Their testimonies are also in the public domain.
There was a lot more to the details. Like some heard a woman screaming. Reports of animals freaking out. Dates recorded wrongly (causing investigations to go screwy). And what I find interesting is that-
Penniston said the"craft he encountered had come from our future, and was occupied by time travelers, not extraterrestrials.".
And Penniston showed his diary entry (that he claimed he was writing in during the event in real time) for that night on a TV interview...and the date was wrong.
And Colonel Ted Conrad publicly stated in 2010- "We saw nothing that resembled Lieutenant Colonel Halt's descriptions either in the sky or on the ground." and that "We had people in position to validate Halt's narrative, but none of them could."
There is lots more to this case, I suggest reading up on it.
ANYWAYS- This case has been done to death in UFO documentaries, Discovery Channel and History Channel shows, books, magazines, radio shows, podcasts etc. And many of the witnesses are selling their books on it.
The Hearing
Each witness told his account. As they always do on every show they can get on. Each one stated they believe it's a cover up by both governments and that documents are being held. They asked the Ex Congress men what to do!
One said- "Well, uh, you should keep trying. Yknow, keep pushing until they give you those documents"
Another said something along the lines of- "wow...that's weird stuff. I don't know what to think about that."
Another said- "I want to be very careful how I word this. But if this is true...there is a cover up."
That's pretty much it...
2 hours to hear the same crap told a million times. And people getting paid $20,000 to say "wow, that's weird, good luck!".

I can pick Cooper's voice out of a million voices just like his. He is possibly my biggest favorite conspiracy person ever to exist, and my teenage obsession.
THAT IS HIM. In fact, its one of his MOST FAMOUS BROADCASTS OF ALL TIME.

Bill didn't believe in UFOs for about the last decade of his life, and he many MANY MANY MANY MANY TIMES apologized for spreading what he called UFO nonsense and claimed it was "military planted disinfo" from various sources including UFO magazines that he said were secretly owned by the military, to documents sent to him (secretly by the military to fool him), and even lost research-friends because he claimed they were military disino agents etc.
DON"T you DARE tell me that's not Bill Cooper.
Bill never said "ummmmm" alot. lol. He was very fluid in his delivery and confident in speaking clearly.

I was not impressed with the first clip. It was the same old story told a million times, by the same witnesses (who have changed their story a few times) and the case ended with the speaker reminding the crowd that each witness and UFOlogist in the house has a book in the lobby for sale.

I just posted two links. There is actually about 30 videos of him explaining this deeply. Its also in his wiki. Its also one of the biggest things people know about cooper. That he flip flopped on the subject publicly and apologized.

And so far, this conference has shown zero evidence backing up the claim of ETs. Sorry. But I'm still listening to it. I'll be back with some insight.

George Knapp, writing for television station KLAS in Las Vegas, about the hearings. Perhaps his most interesting remark: There will be surprise
testimony from a mystery witness. This person, reportedly an intelligence officer who worked at secret facilities in Nevada, apparently made a death
bed confession. The story he told is said to be startling. His testimony will presumably be either an affidavit or video.

By far the best part is the evening presentations; Richard Dolan's talks are always fascinating and he's one of the most sober and scholarly of the bunch. I surprisingly got a lot out of Stanton Friedman's talk also, although I have trouble getting past his ego.
The daily stuff got derailed a bit during the Rendelsham presentation; the 'documents' everyone was discussing that the Congresscritters were recommending the presenters get their hands on was about their medical records; apparently they have serious medical issues related to that incident and their military service was deleted or hidden when the incident was put under security clearance; thus preventing them for getting treatment by the VA.
Today's (Thursday morning) presentation was hindered by language and translation issues but as of mid-morning they seem to have gotten the bugs out. South America is far ahead of the curve here in discussing this openly; since I'm seriously considering ex-patting out of the increasingly fascistic and dumbed-down US, Uruguay is starting to look pretty good right now
BTW, for anyone who is open minded and hasn't yet made their mind up without possibility of new information impinging, the Steven Greer-Joe Rogan interview from a few weeks ago was really stellar. Gave me a whole new appreciation for Greer, and Rogan (who can be a real ass) managed to get through several hours' talk without making a total juvenile out of himself.

By far the best part is the evening presentations; Richard Dolan's talks are always fascinating and he's one of the most sober and scholarly of the bunch. I surprisingly got a lot out of Stanton Friedman's talk also, although I have trouble getting past his ego.
The daily stuff got derailed a bit during the Rendelsham presentation; the 'documents' everyone was discussing that the Congresscritters were recommending the presenters get their hands on was about their medical records; apparently they have serious medical issues related to that incident and their military service was deleted or hidden when the incident was put under security clearance; thus preventing them for getting treatment by the VA.
Today's (Thursday morning) presentation was hindered by language and translation issues but as of mid-morning they seem to have gotten the bugs out. South America is far ahead of the curve here in discussing this openly; since I'm seriously considering ex-patting out of the increasingly fascistic and dumbed-down US, Uruguay is starting to look pretty good right now

Yeah; it's not like you can't see people dressed just as weirdly at a Republican or Democratic Convention. And THOSE people are delegates... (and don't get me started on Mensa Gatherings, where at least everyone has a documented IQ; you should see the costumes in evidence there, especially after 10 pm).
In my humble opinion, there's no one so deluded as someone who would willingly put on a red white and blue get up, wave a flag around for several days at a staged event and think they are somehow participating in an open process.
Im not a American so I dont really have experiance of your political madness. Here in the uk we are prettyy MEH about it, I think that is beacuse we realised years ago how pointless it is as all partys are the same.
Anyway my point is this isnt the time or place to dress up like a crazy as it just hurts the cause.

For anyone who is interested the vast majority of the conference so far is now available (for free as best I can tell unless they put a cookie on my computer because I haven't needed to use my password) on line at the live stream site.
Yep you have a cookie... still asking for 3.80
I posted audio of day two on bottom of page 16... I listened to the first one and except for a couple pauses now and again it was decent quality audio... I'm recoding audio files of each that I'll Upload and post links to later (as long as the tube stays up for me to record)
