Leaked document suggests exposure to Sarin gas during the Gulf War is the cause of Gulf War Syndrome. During the war, between 1 & 2 million alarms
went off suggesting chemical exposure but all were put down to false alarms. After the amount of chemical weapons sold to Iraq before the war, is it
not unreasonable to suggest that there were chemical attacks and the soldiers and Iraqis have suffered since then? After all, psychological damage
may explain some things like mood swings etc but not the deformaties in children born to those fought in this war.
The US Department of Veterans Affairs' Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans' Illnesses is due to publish its findings next week.
But the magazine said researchers have found neural damage consistent with the nerve agent used by Saddam Hussein.
The link is said to have been "crucial" to a change of heart by the US authorities over Gulf war syndrome.
Please visit the link provided for the complete story.
Lets hope that finally the veterans & their families can finally get justice for the suffering they have been through and recognition from their
respective governments. It's long overdue in my opinion
