Jack Layton would have to be admitted to a mental hospital the day after Canada became a state.

If you go by the Canadian election numbers I think the Democrats would have pick up a net 5.2 million votes.

There are many conservatives in Canada, and I've met many a democrat from the US living in Canada who feels somewhat conservative compared to Canadian liberals. lol. Maybe the votes for Nader would have skyrocketed in Canada was just another state

But there is far more Canadian conservatives that feel like Democrats compared to republican.
