I wonder what is in for store next week!

India test-fires BrahMos supersonic cruise missile from warship.

India on Wednesday test-fired for a sixth time the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile it has developed jointly with Russia, defence officials said.

Great news..What is the BrahMos competing with may I inquire? I.e.: is it an independant project or is it in response to any other perceived threat...
