Ok Akragon just said in another post "it seems no one knows how to end a bloody movie these days" and It got me thinking that most movies you can tell how it will end you know the guy gets the girl, kills the bad guys etc...So have you seen a movie which shocked you at the end?

I will not spoil anything but this is my fave unconventional movie ending.

In fact gonna watch it again

I love it when you think Wow I didn't expect that.
Any examples?

Oh and rewatching the Mist as we speak and it has most of the cast of the walking dead in

lol... dude its true...

Almost every movie I've seen in the past year or so... I knew the ending before it happened... or the ending came out of nowhere and left so much to be desired.

Most times the credits roll and im just left saying wtf... its over?!?!

But in the case of Silent hill revelation... I admit, I was glad it was over...

heres one I forgot to mention in the other thread... Great movie, great ending

A Boy And His Dog

They eat the girl he rescues to save his dog.

Once on the surface, Vic and Quilla discover that Blood is starving and near death. Knowing he will never survive without Blood's guidance, Vic faces a difficult situation, and in a twist ending, it is implied he kills his new love and cooks her to save Blood. The novella ends with Vic remembering her question as Blood eats: "Do you know what love is?" and he concludes, "Sure I know. A boy loves his dog." In the film, the following dialog suggests her fate: Blood states "Well, I'd certainly say she had marvelous judgment, Albert, if not particularly good taste." And then they both start laughing at the intended pun.
