Don't lump the pro-British falklands argument into the same lot as him please, you are just as bad as him if you group an entire side of people based on the actions of the few.

I've been in many discussions with Britons about the Malvinas and they all, ultimately, end with words like "micks" and far worse being thrown about as well as wild-eyed, saliva-dripping-from-the-mouth, fantasies about nuclear war.

The Daily Mail has done a very good job of whipping their monosyllabic readers into war hysteria and they've gone out and converted the rest of the island, apparently.

I am so glad Brussels is in charge and keeping a lid on the worst of it, at least.

Can the long term members of ATS keep this civil please, myself included. Don't get penalised responding or getting angry with people who are just fishing for a reaction.

Sorry all, but the vitriol and absolutely horrible (albeit predictable and typical) racism and torture fantasies that the British side has started to float here have become too distasteful for me. In the absence of any moderation for this thread I will have to defer and allow the Britons to win it. Some victories are just not worth the expense of losing your dignity over.

I will let the UK side have control of this mudpit to roll around in. Congratulations on your victory.

At the end of the day it is upto the people who have worked that land for a couple of hundred years and they have decided to stay British.
I can not see the UN going against their decision and you can tell that the Argies are just clutching at straws seeing when the new pope came in the first thing Mrs K did was to ask the Pope to step in.
The Argentine people know the topic is a distraction from the real troubles in Argentina.

your entire hateful premise towards the UK is not civilizing. Argentina is a whore fest of criminality with underground sex slavery protected and used by the ruling class. stop talking to the rest of the world and advocate your "battle plan" to Argentina´s military commanders....and when Argentina is in ruins and buried under its own ruble in backlash, they can taste what conquest feels like, instead of advocating it like some disconnected politician.
