Probably only until July when filming picks up again in Iceland where the Wall sequences are shot.

IMO, Jon had to die. Now, "his watch has ended" and he has been released from his vows upon his death. Then when he gets resurrected (95%+ that will happen), he is free to be king, invade Winterfell, avenge his family, join up with Dany as her nephew, or whatever the plan is.

That is a very solid point and is what's making the rounds over on the Westerosi forums.

It makes sense since he would not be breaking his vow and the Night's Watch would most likely not want to follow a undead guy.

Yep. Solid points for sure.

Plus the whole R+L=J thing was never addressed.

Exactly. Also, from a writer standpoint, the writer usually identifies with a character in the story. Usually the main one, but not always. In this case, I think GRRM identifies with Jon, so he isn't going to kill 'em off. He's got more destiny to go.

His "death" solves the whole vow thing pretty nicely. Just as Stannis' death eliminates the whole "rightful king" problem. (assuming he died last night).

Suck it Cersi.

Still wasn't enough punishment for the crap she's done.

Whaaaa?

Next you'll tell me you felt sorry for her bastard son Joffrey at the Purple Wedding.

ETA
Cerise sees her kids as an extension of herself, the only thing she cares about. Her daughter just died, Tommen will be next. She will get the whole Martin revenge Karma package when she has no access to the Iron throne, which is all she wants, can never have, so manipulated the next best thing. Put her illegitimate children on it. All those wars and deaths she is the trigger for all of it.

*poof* all gone, then my pleasure at her payback will be satisfied.

I'm also in the Cersai support group.
Yes, she WAS a horrible person, but I think she really changed after Joeffrey's death.

Sure, her actions are part of the reasons for the wars, but some of it was way before her (like the whole Targaryens, for instance). Also, Littlefinger was really the one who set things in motion for the wars, and Cersai's pop I think, was more behind the throne. Besides, I think knowing that prophecy would certainly make one an even worse person.

Another possibility for Jon Snow...he could Worg out you know. I don't think that whole deal was in the story for nothing. Not much of a king contender as a wolf, or something, but who knows?

The only way I will be satisfied is if Ramsay Bolton dies, and his father.

Most evil character in the series.

It was awesome to see Theon finally grow a pair(LOL), and escape with Sansa.

However, fans of the series and also Jon Snow should be happy to know that Kit is one of the six actors whose contracts have been renewed all the way up to the end of Season 6 of “Game of Thrones,” details the Express of UK

As of a story on June 8th....

Interesting...

Yeah, Ramsay and his pop need to die....evil to the core, those two.

I was reading some other forums about the theories of keep Jon Snow alive.

Jumping in to his wolf was one of them, but that is still killing him off.

Healing him by the 'red witch' and dark magic would be alright.

That's already happened with others.

Nothing this season about the younger Stark boy think season 6 will pick that line back up.

The night's watch slit their own throats when they killed Jon Snow.

Had he not gone north of the wall the wildings would have become 'walkers'. Like during the escape.

The last thing we saw was him finally making it to the tree.

Guess he has been training his power all this time.

His character arc is up to date and they had no room to expand on his role from the next book/season.

They already left out the Ironborn until next year so leaving him and Rickon out made sense.
