I've got a good burger recipie!

500g lamb mince,
1x courgette (grated),
1x carrot (grated),
some coriander,
Ground pepper,
One garlic clove (finely chopped/mushed)

Stir it all up together, separate into big balls, mould into burger shape, then hit the olive oil prepped griddle pan.

Swear to god best burgers ever, so cheap, and easy to do, plus they have veg, no need for egg!

Yummy

Lamb has a unique taste, that sounds tasty,i will try that sometime for sure.

I think i might add Beezer's idea and toss some bacon in as well.

Hmm I like the cabbage idea. I think I will try it in a meatloaf.

I'd say most really have forgotten the spices as even salt/pepper can make a burger 100% better and it doesn't matter how good the patty if its left too long or pulled off still raw

so i like your style, I made a burger the other day at work that changed my life. i melted grilled kimchi into the steamed fried cheese that envelopes my burger, which is a cheddar jack. and between the the meat and the cheese a quarter of an avocado and a light manayse mustard mix. i usually dont do any other produce when i use grilled kimchi, but I dont think it would take away from the taste too much.

Substitute carrots for the cabbage and you have Mrs. Frogs meatloaf recipe!

We'll try cabbage instead and give it a go. Her meatloaf is good, so this should be too.

Dear DrumsRfun,

What you are describing is what we call a meatloaf in the United States. I like the following ingredients for meatloaf. Ground beef with 15 to 20% fat, salt, pepper, garlic powder, egg tomato paste, Italian bread crumbs and Worcestershire sauce,

Sounds nice.

I like to make my burger meat out of finely chopped garlic, finely chopped white or brown onion and Wholegrain seeded mustard. No egg required to bind. and salt and cracked pepper to taste.

IT'S DELICIOUS.

I lead a Ketogenic lifestyle so no breads for me....so instead I roll them into balls and serve them with melted cheese, lettuce, white onion and a bit of tomato...and maybe a bit if ranch dressing drizzled over the plated burger.

OMG this is making me hungry! Dude, thank you for the recipe - I love burgers, and I will totally give this one a shot!

My favorite condiments on a burger are
deep-fried jalapeños (just slice them down the middle but leave them intact at the stem - submerge them in hot oil for maybe 45 seconds),

chipotle aioli (a little mayo and the adobo sauce from a can of chipotle peppers - hit with a dash of lemon juice and cayanne;

BACON : )

Bleu-CheeZe; : D

and

lettuce, roma tomatoes and just a slice of red-onion! XD

My fav burger recipe: 1/2 lb organic, grass-fed beef (no, I'm not a fat-chick, but I like to eat). Shape into a patty, coat that sucker with nothing but salt and pepper and cooked so RARE that it is still twitching when I bite into it (jk, but I do like it very, very rare!)
Sorry, I totally have the midnite munchies now!!

All the Best and XOXOX!!

and thats 2lb of just the meat before the 1lb of cheese/lord knows how much veg/burger bun and an olive on top

lol

Sounds like a tasty snack for 8. What would a person wash that down with? one of those 64 Oz fountain pops or a 6 pack of Old Milwaukee?

But honestly, I have never heard of Cabbage in the meat, would that not give a guy copious amounts of gas?

If I cooked up one of these monsters, would I be forced out of the house and into the RV?

Cheerio

Wow i hate that the US has such a bad rap for eating lol a 2lb burger
is not by the way normal even here, common burgers are 1/4 lb to big
ones at a 1/2lb or 3/4lb, however 1/4lb is more than enough if you add
anything at all to it, i like mine loaded with lotsa extras, i am going to
try your recipe out, it does sound really good, the cabbage sounds
odd but hey i have eaten and liked much stranger combos than that.

Thank you much

This is my favorite hamburger.... plain and simple kobi beef seasoned with S&P and onion powder cooked to medium a bit of cheddar a dash of ketchup some lettuce ......on a lightly toasted and buttered texas toast and for sure a side of little tater tots
sometimes a slice of onion and a pickle, but just simple for me .......

Perfections finest hour. Thanks for the imagery. The only thing missing there is me making all sorts of slopping and grunting sounds.
