Hey you!

Creature starring at a reflective realm of self loathing and hate
Worthless self inhibited thoughts that only you create.

You wonder the concrete paradigms of confusion and reprieve
Trembling at the picture painted by the monstrous bereave.

Seeking confirmation from the devilish whispers within
Free falling from the dreams and hopes where you want to begin.

The relentless pressure and pounding in your chest cavity
Pulsating pain masquerading a brief moment of clarity

Self-actualization of what your mind has let you become
Reaching for that weapon knowing there is no turning back what's done.

A pause of silence whilst you are pointing the barrel at the monster inside
Knees hit the floor while you wait for the thunderous rumble to subside.

Shattered glass cascading reflections of the morning light
There lies the beast in silence without a struggle or a fight.

Starring no longer at a worthless being smothered in confusion
Realizing that conformity from individualism is the worlds greatest delusion.

Is the word "monstor" in the title a play on words? Or is it an unfortunate typo?

I hate that you can't edit the title after you post.

Good Lord how idiotic of me, it is most unfortunate that I get ahead of myself sometimes and with such anticipation I tend to overlook the most blatant of spelling errors. Thanks for bringing it up. I shall kindly recreate the thread.

That was really good...captured me.
I liked it and enjoyed reading it.
Thank you for sharing. It was dark but seemed deep.

Peace and love

Thank you for your kind words. It is indeed a bit of a dark composition but the end result is a reflection of the struggling individual coming to terms with their inherit identity. Killing those inner demons if you will

Have a blessed evening, well whatever time of the day it is in your side of the world.
