ASIO mole sold secrets to the Soviets

MOLE in ASIO leaked secrets to the Soviet Union for at least 15 years and was never found despite intensive attempts to smoke out the spy, it has been revealed.




The hunt did result in the prosecution of George Sadil, a Russian language translator in ASIO, who was convicted of improperly removing secret documents and given a suspended sentence.
But the real mole - whose activities prompted the US to limit intelligence sharing with Australia for a period of time - was never uncovered, according to a report to be broadcast on ABC television's Four Corners tonight.

This is disgraceful the traitor may still work for ASIO and still be selling secrets. I wonder how many people were killed because of this person.
