Let's cut the crap..the reason society is on a downfall

Using violence as a means to raise children does not magically transform them into respectful, polite and motivated adults. What it does do is teach them that violence can be used to control people through the use of fear. This can result in long-term psychological issues for the subject.

The solution is to maintain discipline that is non-physical, meaningful and proportionate to the undesired behaviour. Many people have the misconception that the only forms of true discipline are smacking and raising your voice.

Try simply saying "I Love You" at least once a day every day to your child.
And mean it.
I have never once had to spank my son, and i'm not against spanking.
I am all for disciplne and i believe in kids doing chores to help.
My son gets good grades in school, and speaks to his elders with Yes or No Sir/Ma'am
I have done nothing special except provide the one element that i believe is lacking the most in todays society.
I speak to my son, i dont direct him.
And i never stop telling him i love him.
He's just finishing High School and is no different than any other kid except he knows he has value.
We only hear about the awful cases, i would put forth that more children are like my son than like the ones we see in the news.

To me the real reason that society is failing is that the political leaders that are supposed to manage society by enacting fair and unbaised laws, as well as ensuring that all their citizens of their respective countries are treated with basic dignity ; However it is our very politicans that have created this spiraling downfall; just look at the USA; there is so much greed, fraud, white collar crime, as well as sex crimes that is taking place and even if they are discovered, they are never held accountable to the same degree an average citizen would have; secondly it is our politicans that created loopholes that only they can use to absolve themselves of any wrong doing. As well in america, the people only have two choices to choose from when it comes to forming a new government that may fit better the times we are currently in; The USA was the first nation not only in the western world but the whole world to be one trillion dollars in debt and that was in 1972. If that had been a normal business, enterprise or corportion they would have beeen dissolved long ago. The dow and nasdq and tsx are really nothing more than bookies taking wagers on businesses, commodities, just like at any casino. The governments want its citizens to be controlled, best way is keep families offspring going to war, taxes high to ensure a majority stay home, like cattle it is easier to control if you have them close and in need. What is need, its food and shelter. The US,will fail financially by 2015 as their youth has not had aqny growth due to all the wars the US is in and its government has justed started to notice that their population is mainly senior citizens or citizens ready to retire.

Solutions...

1) School to be from 9am - 5pm, with a lot less time off.

2) Minimum age to marry is 25. You must stay married for 3 years before having children.

3) Legalize a certain drug now being legalized.

4) Term limits for ALL political offices.

5) Major and sweeping campaign finance reform putting candidates on equal footing.

6) Penalize the hell out of outsourcing.

7) Build oil refineries in ND and SD, and start exporting more oil. Cut off middle eastern purchases.

Didn't say it'd be easy, but do the above, and US society is back on track.

...And a lot of them dont know how to spell or use he wrong word when it has multiple spellings for multiple meanings??? (Ie, "their" - possessive; not "there" - place). Just kidding; lack of respect is a good start.
