I have been trying to figure this out since i was like 16 which was over 16 years ago lol.
I have seen it since my first sad day in the system/slave loop< I could not understand why people would just mindlessly follow along. to me it is sooooo obvious ,how do they not see it ???
God forbid if u try to stay out of slavery they have labels for people like that, (Lazy,Looser,Welfare bum, and the greatest one they have u better follow or you will be a no good 45 year old living in there parents basement ) I mean is it really that wrong to live with your family? they just want you to think that way to divide the family ...to conquer us all, sad but true.
I am living proof that you need not be a slave to be independent!!! I wish everyone would just see it for what it is...ok end rant

great thread by the way S$F

under the same logic, why do people defend socialism or communism where others incur more debt for you just by existing whether they use certain free services or not....?

Why do people defend "universalism" without even embracing it personally....?

Debt slave? You have to work no matter the system. If you want out, dont buy anything and move as far away from civilization as possible. Learn to feed yourself and make due without medicine and technology. It really is that simple.

Spare me another superiority complex thread! Look, if one chooses to make his or her way through life without working, and can do it without relying on government assistance to do so, more power to you. It doesn't make you any better than the next person. If you can't support yourself without some form of income through employment, and you chose to use government assistance or charity to survive, then yeah, you're not noble, you're just plain lazy.

I happen to enjoy my job, and my life. In fact, although it is still a long way away, I can't see having much desire to retire. Obviously, I will retire one day, but I'll have some sort of plan in place to keep busy.

I love these posts..

Successful career, financially stable, family provided for , mentally stimulated, emotionally happy and living life the way I want.

All of the above make me "sheeple".

More power to you OP, whatever makes you feel better in life.

From an Opeth fan.. interesting. Such a fan that your name and avatar are Opeth. Odd for them to be your favorite band when you live such a well rounded life.. just sayin'.

I'm not sure of the tie in between liking any style and living a well rounded life is. Most of what I listen to is sad, dark, insert whatever adjective you want because I like the way it sounds or the emotions it creates in me.

If you have ever seen Mikael he seems to live a pretty well rounded life also including being a parent.

Also my avatar is not Opeth as they have never used corpse paint , that's a picture of Immortal which always makes me lol because their shots are so dramatic and ridiculous looking.

You live.

You get indebted to corporations.

You pay said corporations off until you die.
You never stop producing for them and paying them.
This is nonnegotiable and forced.

Just like a slave. No wait. A rent-a-slave.

Everything you do goes through one of their credit systems.

Child support. Food stamps. Debit. Credit cards. EFS. EPPI. Workers comp. Unemployment. SSI. SSDI. Checking. Loans. Morgages. Insurance. business credit.

It all goes through them.

Awesome.

Well I stopped on the way home from work and purchased a couple of new shirts to wear to the office. Then I got home and ate dinner and watched a recording of a show . Made sure the family pets were fed and happy. After that I watched some hockey highlights, played some Fruit Ninja(damn addictive games) now I am paying the bills I owe and listening to the music I want. I should probably get to bad soon though because I have a lot to do at work tomorrow.

The last thing i will think when I close my eyes is, "yup.it sucks to be a slave to the man after all the hard work I have put in over the course of my career"

Wait I know.."at some point in the future this will all collapse" and I am sure if\when it does the people that insist on making the debt slave type posts will be beyond happy that their posts were proven prophetic. Hopefully it doesn't because you know..Living a balanced, happy, successful (in whatever way matters to you) financially responsible life really isn't that bad.

Whatever your content with.

People should have the choice to live their lives in the way they want without impedance or servitude from a corporate entity.

Its like Aldous Huxley's seminar about "the love of servitude". I don't love, desire nor seek servitude to a corporate power structure. Is that wrong?

Yup agreed and choosing to live life in the manner i listed makes me no more a slave then someone choosing to live the opposite way makes them free.

I've only got a couple of answers to this for the majority of citizens. They cannot think for themselves. They are scared out of their wits when it comes to the tptb and would rather get rammed in other ways than with a gun pointed at their heads.

Most people are sheeples. Doesn't mean they are dumb. They are just victims of a system that have brainwashed them into believing the lies.
