I'm curious, why does everyone say that we have a democracy? Just because we elect our leaders doesn't mean we have control of them. I've been thinking about this for a while and I still havn't thought of anything. Can anyone give me a hand here?

In reality you got two parties representing all of you, thats slightly better than communism though. And the difference between the two current parties is the way they sell the crap to you.
