The Rainbow Maker

Hi everyone - just surfing the net and I'm glad that I came accross this site. Looks very interesting and I look forward to participating. I live in London, England. Just thought I'd try to start off a discussion by asking if anyone else has read a book called 'The Rainbow Maker' by a guy called Mark Turley. A friend of mine got it from a book event a few weeks ago. Its pretty intersting, about a chemical attack on London. The thing is, my friend who also read it, thought that some of the descriptions of arabs / muslims were racist. I'm actually a muslim myself and didn't think they were! i didn't find the book ofensive. Just interested to know if anyone else here has read it and what your views are.
