This is another reason why U.S. Senator Rubio is not ready to be the president of the United States in 2016.

(Reuters) - The United States must ensure that a new Syrian leadership is well armed and can run the country after the fall of President Bashar al-Assad, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio said on Thursday.

Plan ahead for Syria transition, U.S. Senator Rubio says
As usual just like Israeli Bib and now U.S. Senator Rubio are claiming that United States must ensure that a new Syrian leadership is well armed and can run the country after the fall of President Bashar al-Assad.

After the fall of President Bashar al-Assad? according to watergate Rubio he believes that the Terrorist Free Syrian Army are winning but on the ground that is a different story.

The Florida Republican, who is seen as a rising star on the right flank of his party, and who gave the Republican response to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address, spoke about Syria and Iraq during a visit to Israel.

but in the aftermath of this conflict and empower them so that they will become the best-organized, the best-funded, the best-armed, the best-equipped and the most capable post-Assad force on the ground in Syria," Rubio, 41, told a news conference.

the best-organized, the best-funded, the best-armed, the best-equipped and the most capable post-Assad force on the ground in Syria? what makes Senator Rubio say that the FSA terrorists are winning at this point?

"Our hope is to learn ... from the Libyan experience where that didn't happen. We had all these dispersed militias (which) to this day have not come under central control," Rubio said.

As you could see with that Rubio is still being clueless when it comes done to foreign policy maybe America should plan ahead when their terrorists lose in Syria.

They should know that not everything can go with the plans they had in mind. If U.S. Senator Rubio runs in 2016 for the GOP you can bet he will have the same fate as Romney.

Oh sure the people won't mind hundreds of millions of our dollars that we have to borrow be given away in the form of weapons. And if Benny wants Syria to have weapons then let Israel pony up the money for them. Also Benny don't beg us for the money either.

I'm not sure what you are getting at here.....

The way you edited and picked apart the article is not quite the same meaning I got from reading the whole article with all the comments that Rubio made in context.

The impression I got was he was trying to make clear that hopefully we can learn from the Benghazi incident so an accident like that won't happen again.

Also, you might as well get on the current WH. administration too while you're at it, if the thought of ousting Syria's Pres. is the issue at hand for you:

Feb.13, 2013

WASHINGTON — Secretary of State John Kerry said on Wednesday that he planned to use his first foreign trip to advance new ideas about how to persuade President Bashar al-Assad of Syria to yield power and agree to a political transition.

www.nytimes.com...

Though the United States has sought to encourage a negotiated handover of authority to a transitional government, Mr. Assad’s determination to cling to power has proved to be a major, and so far insurmountable, impediment.

“I believe there are additional things that can be done to change his current perception,” Mr. Kerry said. “My goal is to see us change his calculation.”

Much respect~

What an idiot. Does that senator realise that the FSA are going to turn their attention to the Zionists? Does he realise that the FSA don't give a crap what the USA want and will most likely use those weapons to attack US interests in the Middle East? By installing criminals in to power and then arming them to the teeth you are only looking for more trouble and I hate to say it but the next terrorist attack will be no-ones fault but the Wests.

As for john Kerry, he should mind his own business. The Syrian people don't give two hoots about him and what he wants in their country. Maybe he should take a trip to Syria and see how long it is before someone is beheading him and dragging his torso down a dirt road. Syria don't care about the USA and whether you install terrorists or not, they still wont care. They will not turn away from Iran or Russia and the USA/Israel has buckleys of winning any votes in that country.

Assad isn't going anywhere and the Syrian people will make sure of it. This is what Syrian women are doing now to fight the scumbags being sent across the border. Behind the SAA 100%
