and like us getting all different reports from all different sources! At least we are particpating on the thread..makes it seem not as voyeuristic as just watching it unfold.

I find it extremely frustrating that they feel like they have to keep chattering on and on without really saying anything. Then days or weeks later we get a completely different story. Speculating and in some cases just fabricating things.

I know how you feel.. After Sandy Hook, and the Batman shooting I know I have to Listen in Live as much as possible, because you are right.. The story will change, but gotta have the beginning base point to judge from to try and find out if the later media has a motive, and what that motive is.

I'd guess it's not terribly easy to be a live anchor in this position.

1. ABC Chopper is back on the air, but they just seem to be flying around the mountains, not focused on any one place like they were before.

2. A roadblock at place "X" has stopped ALL traffic. Can't tell exactly where it is except that it is obviously in a hilly area.

3. There are at least half a dozen big, black LAPD vehicles headed up the mountain, all in a row. They're the size of a large aid unit, like a F-650 in size, looking very ominous, speeding up the highway into the mountains.

Eventually, he'll run out of ammo. That is, unless he has staged ammo at this location. He's penned in, and isn't going anywhere.

If I were the police, I'd pull back and wait it out. They have the advantage of rotating personel and a supply chain for things like food. I'm sure they have their own aerial survellience on him as well. Eventually, he'll run out of steam and like Hef said, off himself or slip up and get sniped.

As another mentioned -- I'm surprised he hasn't decided to call a media outlet for one last rant. I'm also sure they have internet up there. I'd be on livestream if I was him, showing things from his side.
