Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Time is now to chose a side and sitting on the fence doesn't count.

Oh, is been many mistakes, you are right, anybody that dares to say that US has never killed intentionally are sipping coolaid for too long.

One of the examples during the early days of killing in Iraq "Insurgents" were tagged to anybody indiscriminetely, women, children that were caught up within the killing rampage of so call Insurgents and terrorist.

Justifying collateral damage, if children and women are around a target regardless of their links they will be targeted as terrorist to justify the murder of Innocent

Under this rule, law or whatever the government wants to call it, will apply to our own streets when targeting drug dealers or drug cartel, anybody surrounding the intended target will all be considered guilty and that will eliminate the term "collateral damage".

Sadly that, it was Bush the one started this and now make it into a law, rule or whatever by the existing powers and those to come after

Interesting to see how our nations power are evolving, one president does a deed then the one after regardless of affiliations will implement further the deeds, is very clear that what is going on is nothing but agendas that has been lay out many decades ago and coming into place, is more of who really runs the nations politicians that political parties.

This is a war for human life. Things do get confused. One terrorist can kill millions if you let him. There have been service members with malicious intent true. There have been accidents true.

What about the good you don't ever see? Or should I say evil?

I agree that it is better to die than take a life of an innocent, and many service members disagree. That needs to change.

A good? to benefit whom or who, so far no wars historically has brought any good but chaos, mayhem and destruction that has taken decades to bring under control and still not good is to be seen.

Wars do not fix anything, it just create more room for enemies to be born, breed and fight and be kill on another war along with the fair share of the inocent, eliminating the "inocent" call it all guilty and everybody be happy, right ?

This is an agenda and has nothing do with what is going on oversea, this agenda is for when our own government turn against its own citizens, plain and simple, all guilty no inocent, make sleeping better for the truly criminals running this nation.

Cabelas in Hamburg,PA... No longer selling in bulk. I have been seeing empty ammo shelves in the sporting goods departments of Department stores in this same area.

I have it from a person that I trust that he spoke to a representative from an ammo manufacturer and was told that the US govt has placed large orders for 9mm, 5.56 NATO, 40 S&W and 7.62 NATO and this has caused the short supply. Add this, and it looks ugly to me.....

Govt. illegally destroying ammo supplies

Considering the influence of certain sects of the MB in certain parts of the world, combined with the rest of the terrorists out there, and it will probably be quite a while. Mind boggling, but true...

they can take you out on suspicion alone

awful

That's NOT what it says though. It says "clear evidence that [there will be an immediate attack]." They still need evidence that the person is affiliated with Al Qaeda and planning an attack of some kind.

While I oppose these actions, get your facts right everyone!!! I see a complete disregard for the truth on these forums.

How many of you would be surprised if during a news conference Obama reached up and started to unzip his skin down the middle of his face and body and George Bush stepped out with his goofy grin.

The Constitution’s guarantee of “due process” before the government takes a life does not necessarily mean “judicial process” in national security situations.

In other words don’t hang out with terrorists or we will kill you. That seems pretty simple to me.

I would hate to find out that enemies of the US were able to hide in other countries and plan attacks and we did nothing because they were citizens. They would become untouchable terrorists. I think people here need to look at both sides of the coin here. The precedent for this was set over 200 years ago.

...And who exactly are the terrorists that want to kill me and are most likely to do so?

....not the ones who cant be reached without a camel.

I see a threat- a very big and clear threat to the people who stand up against tyranny and and those who abuse their percieved authority.

- They aint' wearing turbans and their English is fantastic.

It really seems as if they are trying to push us slowly over the cliff just to see if we will fall out of fear.

-Fear is a powerful Agent to a man whos own country is being turned against him. They might not like the result of thousands of people resisting the bottom of the ravine. Esp when you spit on the very natural and lawfully protected rights that our people have paid with in blood - Lucky he didnt pull this crap before his re-election bid.

The word treason doesnt even begin to define what these snakes are doing. They get away with it because there are plenty of wooley sheep out there willing to take it , because thats all that they know how to do.

We might as well declare the US Govt its own country and make them leave. They stopped operating in our best interests a long time ago. They are just getting more brazen about it all- they no longer care that we know what they are trying to do. The only way they can be stopped is with an equal and opposite reaction. Till then- we are dooming ourselves.

BTW- I am not al queda. I dont remember submitting any application to Terrorist Weekly.

The military-industrial complex is the enemy, as well as big business in general. Nevermind masonry, illuminati, satanism, and all the occult mysteries. Eisenhower warned about it 50 years ago yet here we are and the majority still cannot figure it out.

Trust me everything else is minor. Communism collapsed and only a complete idiot would think otherwise. Sure russia has done its fair share of imperialism this century, and western european nations in the past centuries. But we are talking about the *here and now* of a nation that needs to raise its debt limit continously to avoid bankruptcy and millions of americans on unemployment and/or welfare.

Military bases outside of america should be abandoned, the soldiers come home, cut down the armed forces by 33%, cut down on the DOD black budget, raise tariffs, cut down on capital gains tax to 25% from 39%, put a moratorium on first house foreclosures while increasing the payback period and lowering the interest rates to people who qualify, strip some of the interstate commerce laws that are redundant or unnecessary, etc. Plenty of things can be done to jump start the economy if that was the goal, but I am pretty sure it is not the goal. The goal is to sink america, sink the piigs, install world currency, install rfid chips, install world government run by megarich folks living their wetdreams.

Please tell me this was nothing more than sarcasm....

If you truly believe this, you are doing nothing more than trading one demon for another. Socialism is not a friend to freedom and liberty. There is NO DOUBT that there has been fiscal irresponsibility all across the country....or the GLOBE, in fact (look at Europe). Yes, the financial industry holds SOME responsibility for allowing and encouraging a culture where this has been possible....but don't forget that the public at large needs to hold THEMSELVES responsible too for engaging in it. Remember that for every finger you point, there are 3 others pointing right back at you. No one held a gun to your head and allowed you or your governments (more than just the US government) to go so deeply in debt. You (not YOU specifically, but a general "you") did that all on your own. Bad choices made by many all around, including bankers. I am assuming that you do not have any special insight into either banking or the wealthy. Let me enlighten you....many many banks and financial institutions have gone under due to making bad decisions. Do not think that there are just tons of fat-cat bankers sitting on top of the world or the backs of the poor. That just isn't reality. Wealth drives economy and business. Money is not held in some secret vault where it is stockpiled. It is reinvested to create new business. Successful business owners know that they NEED people to run and drive business. "Slave labor," worker unhappiness, intimidation, and fear only lead to revolt and Revolution....just ask the numerous wealthy, rulers, and governments that have been deposed because they tried these tactics.

All that being said, I am a die-hard proponent of individual liberty, freedom, and...yes...privacy. The government does not belong in my home or my community or my schools or my businesses or my church, except under limited capacity to ensure your rights under the Constitution. The government is NOT my keeper. I firmly believe if the founding fathers of this nation saw the laws and rhetoric that is spouted by today's politicians, they'd revolt in disgust because it is the same mentality they fought against to break from England to begin with.

Finally, it isn't reasonable to pull all your troops in from around the world and live in your own little bubble while the world falls apart around you. Have you ever read the "Masque of the Red Death?" Eventually, chaos finds a way in.

Here is proof of childish tactics and slander. You are being intentionally deceptive by pretending I used that logic.
Would you like more proof? eta: I'm sorry, for fairness - show me where our president or military has ever labeled a child as a terrorist. If you can do that, then you got me. You can not do that.

I am not pretending you used that logic - you did! I've quoted your own posts! It's there for everyone to read. Somehow to you that is slander and childish tactics.

Where has the President ever labelled a child a terrorist?

Anwar Awlaki an alleged terrorist was murdered by a U.S. drone strike in Yemen.

Then his son was similarly killed for no discernible reason and he was sixteen years old!

Also if you'd happened to keep abreast of developments regarding these drone policies you would be aware that the U.S. government has redefined "militant" to mean all males of military ages.

Yahoo

New York Times

Salon

There are plenty of other links. It only takes a cursory search on Google to find them.

Also the sick practice of striking rescue parties after an initial drone strike has also been well documented:

This report on drone strikes highlights the affect drone strikes are having on civilian populations and this link also discusses the same thing.
