As in respect for the Ancients and their wisdom,
I search for higher education -

Welcome to what I call Nazca Lines: Hooked on Phonics
and if for purely entertainment value only - please join my quest;

Many years I have been intrigued by the Nazca Lines and to their apparent message
to mankind.
Veried enigma's stand out and many similarities also arise.
Questions without answers.. ..questions demanding answers!

As of late I have postulated that the actual (what I term) Nazca 'glyphs' are
infact picture~words..or a picture representing a phonic, to be more precise;
as in the same as Egyptian phonics.

To me - the decisive game I've been challenging myself is to figure out which
phonic represents the picture~glyph being represented and in which order the
glyphs are placed so that the phonics assemble into a sentence or message.

I would like to share this with my peers in interest of what each picture represents to them
personally and also what phonic or phonics they see that particular glyph representing.

There are many varied glyphs but the first one I present is a well known one; the Monkey.

The monkey has a spiral tail with his hands clearly on what resemble a pyramid..?

Is the (mon)key the 'key' and is it explaining a vortex that may have to do with the pyramids..?

The people who made the lines didn't speak english. They didn't call it a monkey.

Not sure about phonics for the reasons already given,
however that monkey looks like water ways leading from the pyramid

vortex?whirpool?collection of high spin material?
there are way too many to list

It makes me think the monkey is us and we can draw energy from the galactic spiral through the pyramids??

Maybe thats what the pyramids were.....some huge power storage device which was energized every turn of the big 26000 yr orbit around the galactic arm, and stores it for the duration of the cycles.??
Thats why they are so big(ie so much mass)

Then they have a gravitic component

Sorry if I don't subscribe to what our scholars choose to teach us.

In my opinion, there is too much evidence in the lines themselves to
discredit that an acient civilization with extreme knowledge left them
for a future race to decipher.

hi, man, i am thinking that the swirly tail of the monkey was used as a labyrinth, they meditated as they got closer to the center, their minds cleared,, thats just some basic labyrinth info..
cheers,

For those mentioning the monkey's spiral tail -

It has been speculated that the spiral in ancient artwork
has something to do with the marking of the 'solstice'.

We know the pyramids mark the solstice.

indeed, but we also know that the pyramids were also used for meditation,, breathing holes in the sarcophagus, and after all, they were tempels among many other things... maybe multible explanations? and reasons..
good brainstorming...

Brainstorming is why I brought this topic to ATS -

I'm hoping like~minded individuals would enjoy an old fashioned detective style quest.

We may learn something new about Nazca

maybe its a message to some part of space, that someone can see it only on solstice...
like, wellcome, come meditate with us in the pyramids that are in the jungles (thats why the monkey)
or maybe it was a 40-days in the desert type place..

They definately are a message..riddle..that can only be viewed from the sky.

If they were not left to 'Aliens' for viewing, then whomever created these glyphs
were in the presence of mind to not have them deciphered until mankind had the
technology to fly.

There is no mistake however, these glyphs have something to do with the pyramids.

So, you're saying that the people who made the lines, whomever they may be, literally spoke modern English?

Cool man.

Big fan or Jordan Maxwell aren't you?

Sorry...never heard of 'Jordan Maxwell'..?

I don't think I presented my post as saying the glyph's were written in english;
I thought I presented it as saying that they were along the lines of Egyptian glyphs -
meaning any culture should be able to translate the glyph into there own language..
..call it linguistics..phoenician.

[quote/VonDoomen]
..:["I read a book a long time ago that was attempting to recreate protong (proto-tongue) which is a term for the first instances of human langue or a proto language (proto = indicating the first or earliest or original).

In this book, they argued that the was one symbol for water or the idea of a massive global flood.]:..

This was taken from 'FuzzyNintendo's thread;
"The Naska Lines: An Alien Blueprint

Thank you FuzzyNintendo and VonDooman!
***************************************************

This is a remark I made where I have this topic posted on a different forum.
2012forum.com...

["I say 'damn' to "Von Donkeyman" (Von Daniken) for presenting his
theory of Ancient Astronauts.

He named this glyph "The Astronaut" which it then termed
the Nazca Lines as Ancient Alien folklore.

I have always saw this glyph as two words -

"Wave" for that is what he is doing, and "Giant"
for that is what he is... ..so..
Giant Wave!!!]

The Nazca area is littered with different glyphs showing "Spirals";
Four I know of and possibly more.

It is speculated that there once was an ancient global language known
as "SOLEX~MAL" translated to mean "Solar Tongue" -
www.sacred-texts.com...

Are the 'glyphs' an ancient language verifying the Biblical tale
of Noah's/Gilgamesh's epic journey through deluge..?

Are they also a Calendar of cyclic events as dictated by the other
glyph's strewn across the plateau and mountain tops..?
