Rampaging monkeys injure 7 people in Indonesia

A mob of wild monkeys has gone on a rampage in a village in eastern Indonesia, entering houses and attacking residents, injuring seven people.

One of the victims was listed in critical condition.

The surprise attack by about 10 monkeys happened in Toddang Pulu village.

It is unclear why the monkeys, which are usually afraid of humans and flee when they hear human voices, emerged and attacked.

This, for some reason, reminded me of the movie Day of the Animals that I saw as a kid.

I look around and see people literally going crazy. And all the strange things with the animals, too. It's all just so... NOT RIGHT.

Something seriously pizzed them off!. I wonder if the authorities there go on a hunting trip now to find them. Once something like that happens it seems to be the only way these days
