New member, looking to join in the debates

Hows it going? I stumbled upon this site by pure accident about 2 years ago, and needless to say, it sparked my curiosity.... ever since then ive been "tumbling down the rabbit hole."

Been coming on here reading threads for quite sometime now, and to be honest, ive learned a lot of pretty scary things, but you know what they say.... knowledge is power.

Anyway, im glad to be here and cant wait to finally engage in some of the brilliant conversation, as opposed to just being a bystander. Oh, by the way, if my grammer and/or punctuation is a bit off, its because i dont have a personal computer and im doing this all from my phone..... so appollogies in advance. (Also my spellcheck doesnt work... sorry)

I wonder why your Karma rating started off on 40?
When I joined, my Karma strrted off on zero, amd I had to build my way up from there.

I am just noticing that out of curiosity.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Im still at work, so my replies might be a little spaced apart.... Still learning all the account functions and whatnot. Hmm.... maybe i should try learning the site when im off the clock....
