Astronaut Edgar Mitchell described a PSI type experiment in his Biography "The Way of the Explorer" that took place during his flight onboard Apollo 14. NASA was not read in and kept silent about it (see pg.56 for a starter). The telepathy experiments were described as "interesting" (around pg.76) concerning the results. Later the headline "Astronaut Does ESP Experiment on Moon Flight" went around the world. Is Telepathy/Precognition (recategorized in this case by sceptics into latter) a reality, or literally more something for the man on the moon?

Oh, psi is very real. Heck, even Freud knew it. He didn't want the public to know it was real though. He thought it was too dangerous for people to know about. Hence, the taboo against parapsychology in mainstream science.

The telepathy experiments were described as "interesting" (around pg.76) concerning the results.

Interesting if you interpret the data and manipulate statistics to make it appear that way.

Somehow the fact that that Mitchell could not meet the schedule and conducted his "transmission" an hour after the "receivers" recorded their results turns into a matter of precognitive telepathy.

Somehow the fact that two of the receivers performed slightly better than chance and two performed slightly worse than chance gets twisted to "interesting".
