BAGHDAD - Abdul Ali Salman : TV station said Iranian Press televised «that more than 3 thousand U.S. troops returned secretly to Iraq via Kuwait in tasks related to the recent developments in Syria and northern Iraq. And adds the station, according to our correspondent U.S. troops entered secretly on multiple stages, a mostly stationed in a military garrison in the country / province of Salahuddin and Al Asad in Anbar. Reports say the U.S. forces, including army officers and is set approximately 17 thousand soldiers last to return secretly to Iraq via the same route.

Glad all of the involvement of U.S. men and woman is finally winding down from the wars so they can get back to their families and a good life and instead politicians and their kids are picking up the slack....oh wait.

It's PressTV. Not the most reliable of sources. Kinda like Debka, there's usually a small grain of truth in there somewhere, and a whole lot of hyperbole. Like they are sending troops in to guard the Embassy, and suddenly they're sending 3,000 troops in, and there are thousands more ready in Kuwait to follow them.

Yes, they can. And the family does not need to be notified.
Most Units/Squadrons in the Military are set on a 6 month rotation for rapid deployment. They will get notice say, Tuesday morning and will have 48-72 hours to get their crap together and be gone.

I think most sign up for financial security.

That's why the US economy has been deliberately sabotaged. Nobody wants to risk their life for a paycheck if it's easy to get a good job.
