Too many generals and not enough soldiers makes a pretty lousy army. If everyone who wants to join you gets a high rank, the generals won't have anybody to boss around.

They are already chosen, they just have to say the word yes, after all, you have a choice, but only one choice seems to have a point, if you want to live in prosperity.
Our army will exist of mostly mechanical robots. Exoskeletons are also in production, for when human soldiers are needed for special operations.

But mostly we will be focused on colonizing other planets, learning more about the universe and our existence. We will also be investigating other dimensions, home of the Overlords, a mysterious and complex species we have made a pact with. They are being oppressed by evil forces and they have asked us if they could use planet earth for reinforcing their forces. Of course before this we must first unite humanity and create a new empire, aka a New World Order, which will unite us all. This is not as you imagine it to be but you could compare it to the Galactic Empire from Star Wars, but that's just pure sci-fi, we are talking about reality here ofcourse.

sounds awful....you seem to be insane and would be in charge. Not exactly fair by your standards. Are you the smartest? I think in your system the smartest should be in charge. Thing is how do you judge intelligence?

A genius sometimes has a hard time understanding basic human nature, or other such little things even a child does get.
