Well they do always send out those $1,000 discount checks...what if you opened it and it said you have to show up at a specific time and place in order to collect your prize? Do you go?

A few years back, they sent invitations to people that had warrants...special prizes for the first 50 that showed up...
so, only if I didn't have a warrant...and only if I knew it was a public destination...then maybe I would let curiosity get the best of me.

Yea, 'arrested', that's what went through my mind. I wouldn't know for sure if I had a warrant, so I wouldn't go.

You ever see the bounty hunter shows? They call people up and tell them to come claim there "Major Award" like a T.V. or something. I'm always baffled by how stupid people are.

Well I used to work for a collection agency and we sometimes needed to get in a home to gain possession of the refrigerator or stereo system or 25" console TV...I would go to the house next door and ask them if they knew their neighbors...If they said they did, I would tell them we haven't been able to contact them and were trying to deliver a prize they won, you wouldn't believe how fast they would open the door...once inside...we dropped the bomb on them, the looks on faces...either they paid 3 months ahead or forfeit the item till they can resume payments. I had a 90% percent collection rate.
