I am a Taurus. Here is my personality profile in a nutshell:

Taurus in a Nutshell: Taurus is the one who has immense perseverance, even when others have given up, the Taurus rages on. Solid and persistent, just like the bull, which is Taurus' well suited symbol. Taurus's have a well known reputation for being stubborn, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The stubborn streak can cause Taurus to butt heads and conflict with other strong character types. Taurus are not fond of change. They like the familiar and routine comfort of life. Taurus is easy going and not one to pick a fight but should some poor souls attempt to provoke Taurus, the wrath will be known, for they have a temper underneath the calm surface. Taurus are very responsive to their surroundings. They like decorations, color, anything that appeals to all the senses. Taurus like possessions and the Taurus home is nicely decorated with lots of things. Taurus are down to earth, they do not like gaudy, flashy or over the top things. They prefer comfortable and creative settings and objects. Taurus likes security, in every aspect of their lives from home, to love, to career. Taurus can be secretive, opinionated and stingy. Taurus tend to be self-indulgent and lazy, Taurus are master procrastinators of the astrology zodiac! They do however have a strong, persistent drive that comes to life when they chose, and no one would ever know that they are lazy. The secret to this is that their laziness is pushed aside when it comes to themselves.

I do agree with most of what is said about Taurus on this site, although it says I'm not a leader (not included above) in the total assessment. I have found that I do lead in some circumstances, so I would have to disagree with that statement.

Lazy?! ME?! The audacity of such a statement makes me want to make a video of my daily activities sitting at the computer on ATS exercising my brain day in, and day out! I'll show them who is lazy! (HA!) Research is such tiring work!

I know there are a lot of people that can identify with their own zodiac, but I have a theory that a lot of it is just self-fulfilling.

ETA: After just now reading my family's zodiac, I recant my statement. My wife is an Aries, I'm a Leo, my oldest son is an Aquarius, my baby boy is a Cancer.

The intention of this thread is to get to know other members.

My emotions are Crazy ridiculously strong.. This has brought on many problems for me including alcoholism.. But being a scorpio I just changed it up and kept going haha.. Sill if someone does manage to make me mad, which I try to avoid, they will HURT..

I was born Jan 7 and agree 100%. It amazes me how accurate these things can be sometimes. I believe that we are all a little of all the signs. But mainly your sun sign that is.

I dated a Scorpio for four years, and I was married to a Capricorn. So I can attest to both of those also!

I'm Taurus too, and i totaly agree with that description.

Especially the temper thing, losing it is like a once in a lifetime thing for me, you could beat the crap out of me and i'd probably shake your hand and apologize.....but if it's tested too far, then it's a sight to see.

I always got told the bull thing was appropriate too, seeing as i'm like a bull in a china shop. Clumsy as they come too.

My long birth chart is also right.

I did mine and then gave it to a few friends and told them it was their birth chart and they all said No, but they all agreed it read like it was talking about me... Mind was blown then when I did do each friends chart, they all agreed it was them.

I guess that pretty much proves what my husband has been saying all along: I am a control freak!
