We knew it would happen and those of us with any kernel of intellect also know that it'll probably not get any better or worse during the next four years. We can only hope that the guy in office does what would seem logical and try to make his second term count, and for now none of us can offer any proof that he wont attempt to do so. He probably wont but I can't say for sure because I'm not crazy enough to believe that I have psychic powers and can predict the future.
I voted for Gary Johnson and he got screwed much harder than Romney but you don't see me whining about it like a little baby.

1) the republicans control more business then democrats
expect microsoft and the railroad guy( i forgot his name) to run into supply issues and legal battles
Layoffs will be occurring as soon as tomorrow morning
I work for a company that has been on a hiring spree all year, adding 50+ jobs this year alone. Today, I got the call that my staff is being cut by over 75%. I have no idea how we'll be able to deliver our work next year, it just seems impossible.
I've heard some other anecdotal evidence that people are losing their jobs all across the company as businesses allocate what used to be salary to future taxes.
4)gridlock in DC
no bipartisanship- nothing to gain
the o-man is not johnson... I see no deals being cut
Republicans will point to the white house as the source of the problems
But with President Obama already saying he'll veto any agreement that doesn't raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans — one of his key campaign promises — and Republicans saying they won't agree to any tax hikes (period), it's hard to see a consensus emerging anytime soon.
The consensus remains that some deal will be reached prior to Dec. 31 -- when automatic spending cuts and tax hike take effect.
Washington (CNN) - Shortly after multiple networks projected that Republicans would retain control of the House, Speaker John Boehner took to the stage with a message that looked ahead to the battle over the fiscal cliff - the GOP isn't budging on taxes.
