Calling all ATS owners and moderators! I have a suggestion!

Hello ATS and BTS, I have a suggestion. Please tell me what you think.

There are forums called Member Art, Fantasy & Science Fiction, and Collaborative writing... but none that are specifically made for people and their own personal stories.

By stories, I mean books, mangas, comics, poems, short stories, novels, ect... I would love to share these stories, but I'm never sure where to post them.

I am an author and artist, and I love to write mangas, and I'm working on some simple story novels too. And, occasionally, I'll try my hand at poetry. I think BTS needs a specific "Story Sharing" forum, where you can post story ideas, look for help making ideas, share your books or small sections of your books and stories and poems, and ect.

What do you think? Good idea?

Well there is one for Short stories. It's called the Short Stories Forum

Is there bacon in here??? I sense bacon...

There is precedent in the short stories forum! As for a new, dedicated sort of forum? That stuff is way above my rank!

My advice in these situations is always, use the existing forums to create and demonstrate the popularity and demand... then post a thread to Board and Business questions saying "We've got X number of people, and X threads going already... we need a FORUM!

There is actually a 'short stories' forum!! But if that is not to your taste a lot of people write their own personal stories in 'the gray area'!! I see a lot of poems and personal stories there! I absolutely love manga, and do hope you share yours with us when you find which forum you want to use!

There once was a ATS Cartoons/comics page. But I only saw one that was posted (Complete with voice), it was pretty well drawn as well.

Apparently, since no one else contributed, the page was removed. (That's a guess by the way).

It's probably still in the Search though.
