Bright Flying Object In Athens 13-10-2012

I saw this on YT this morning.....

My work on a timelapse 'gave' me something strange..! A lighting thing suddenly appears above the mountain Ymittos and have a 5+ minutes way to Lycabbettus Hill..! Can see it in 33 picture frames with light and in another 11 BEFORE get a light(like a stigma)!!!

The 'Japanese'(CANON) can see ALL!

I shoot with 7d 135mm Auto shutter(first 6frames 3,22sec shutter speed ,the rest 27 4sec)
1frame every 10sec, 4sec shutter which MEANS that 4sec we see its travel in every frame and for 6sec we dont see it.. 33X10=330/60=5' 30'' VISIBLE TRIP!

For those unable to watch the video it shows a long slim gold light flying across the horizon. It dips and maneuvers in a way at such high speed that I don't see how it can be a conventional aircraft.

Okay folks what do you think of this one?

EDIT - So most think it's just a trick caused by the time lapse video effect.
I don't know and I'm learning new stuff everyday. A couple things I think are odd....first at the begining the light turns on it starts out as a white dot. Second is the way it elevates then descends in the middle of the video. I don't know I'm not convinced that it's just an airplane or helicopter.

It does look weird, but thats the thing with time lapses, it can make normal stuff look weird. That most likely will be a plane imo.

I don't know what that is but that music is creepy as hell

At first I thought it was nothing...just another time lapse video. But then he slows it down and breaks it down a little bit. Good find.

Helicopter?

What gets me about these videos is why the need to turn a 5 second video into one minutes long by repeating the footage over and over.

I agree about the music I had to turn my speakers down I felt like I was being hypnotized!

It's weird at the begining where it starts as a dot and then gets all bright.

Its time lapse footage of what looks like something coming into land , I don't see any mystery here .

Really the way it bobs up and down and then dives into the mountain? I guess maybe the pilot was drunk.

Nice find, the start and the pitch up and fast down really makes me think its a illuminated bug, but the way it disappears and reappears in the bottom doesn't show any relation to other debunked bug video's i have seen.
Beautiful city btw.. specially those lights at that compound at the bottom of the small mountain(left).

The original OP who took the video is so smart . He is took the video day and night and finally caught the UFO on tape . Music suits the video

Okay. I see a bunch of airplanes.

I don't see a long gold / amber light. I don't see anything that looks similar to the video in the op.

Considering that this video is played at such a high time lapse, at real time the object would be moving very slow, extremely slow actually.

A descending Chinese lantern perhaps, or possibly a helicopter that, right at the end, turns towards the wind to approach for landing. But I didn't see any obvious stobes or nav lights on it, which would be required.

It looks like 1 frame to every 5 mins or so.

Interesting non the less.

I still think it's a cool video.

It's a blimp being wound in, speeded up, Lol, in the very first video as it takes so long to move as to how long it takes to got from light to dark. But the close up at the end looks pretty much like something another member posted earlier.

It flies in front of the mountain, not into it.

The "bobbing" up and down could be lust the helicopter (plane?) leveling off and adjusting its altitude. I think the time-lapse nature of the video is adding to the perceived oddity of the "bobbing" motion. If this was a regular speed video (and not a time lapse), I bet the bobbing would look a lot less odd.
