It has all the normal stupidity that comes with liberal junk like that. If you accept the premise, then you have already lost any hope of answering the actual problem.

The premise ignores the simple fact that the use of illegal guns in crime is just a symptom of the problem, and eliminating the illegal guns (if that was even possible) would not fix the true problem.

They point at guns because they don’t want to even start to contemplate how to fix the actual problems that cause it. It is a cumulative result of lack of a good education system, no reinforcement of basic social values, Lax punishment, poor family structure in the home, and a total lack of a concept of basic social morals. It is also caused to some extent by Chicago’s push for total disarmament. The criminals know the population is easy pickings.

That is why their premise is self defeating. If you limit your thinking to figuring out how to eliminate illegal guns, then you totally ignore why there is any illegal guns in the first place.
