The future of homes? or Just a dream

There I stood, in what seemed to be a long and narrow hallway. This hallway, which was oddly dim lighted and gave off a gloomy sensation, stretched out in a circular motion in both directions, for as far as the eye could see until it started to curve inwards.

On both sides of the hall, were many oddly shaped doors. The doors were all rounded, sorta like that of a washing machine. They also seemed to be made of some type of metal, the color resembled that of iron, but later when I decided to touch the door I distinctly remember it feeling like plastic. This is when the thought of "synthetic metal" entered into my mind.

This place, which was unknown to me at the time seemed very familiar. I remember walking down the hallway for what seemed to be forever, and then I stopped at a door with a small keypad, just as the others had. On this particular keypad though, read the characters of "L400" or it may have been "LA00" or "LA88" I really can't remember. I only remember the shape of the characters and distinctly remember an "L" at the beginning.

For some odd reason this door drew my attention, so I knocked. What happened next was a blur, but I do remember a voice from inside the keypad asking me for my ID. I remember reaching into my pockets and searching for a small card, and inserting it into the keypad.

The door swung open and then the card was sucked into the door. Inside the "room", was nothing more than a bed. It wasn't even a room I would say. More like a tunnel, with only enough room for one person to sleep.


The next thing I distinctly remember after this is now I was outside looking up at this building which seemed to stretch up into the clouds, was circular and had no windows. It was like a mega apartment of nothing but tunnels "rooms" for sleeping.

The weird thing is that this was not the only one of these buildings, there seemed to be hundreds.

I remember thinking, wow. This is how things will look in the future, and that's when I woke up.

This dream I know, has very little significance but it just seemed to real.

Its our kids future home.

Israel will attack Iran. War continues until Iran developed nuke by Russia and China help, later they bombed Israel, on her last breath, Israel execute Samson Option, destroying most of Middle East, earth almost sterile, still hospitable, later nuclear winter and whatever nuke brings on entire earth. 2012 is really the eye opener for us all. It is the year we all learn the few of most important things in life.

After a year of governments collapse, we humans or whatever left start rebuilding ourselves. The alien landed and help in return of co-existence and acknowledge entry into the cosmos family. We reject the idea with heads down in shame but vowing to never repeat it again.

Mayan prophecy fulfilled, 2012 is the new enlightenment and we all step forward, now, wiser.
The said building will be build in Australia due to its isoation and distance from the nukes blast. 500 million people on survive and migrate to the continent. Striving on algae and very limited poultry. Land scarcity force us to share living quarters except the bed and personal locker. True democratic socialism is the new government because its the only option. Races eliminated and religion exist as personal matter.

For the next 150+ years, surviving humans mourns and cursed over our era "The Dark Years".

reminds me of the movie the fifth element. with growth of population and amount of people that cant afford to buy homes i could see this being are future.

This is an interesting topic, i must look more into it as soon as i return home to my computer.

Could be underground bunker living quarters. They would want some screens on the ceiling giving images that would make it appear you could look up and see the sky to subdue people's minds a bit so you don't get claustrophobic.
