Anyone know how to do excel (simple problem)

Ok, I'm doing this survey at my school and I have my excel sheet set up but I'm trying to get the numbers to go down like

but every time I try to do it that way, it keeps going

You would have saved yourself a lot of time by going to a site called www.google.com

If you type: excel how do I make num and it starts spitting out suggestions like "excel how do I make numbers increase" or "excel how do I make numbers increase automatically", and so on.

Choose one and click on the first link.
If you do not get it, click the second, and you're done!

ps. It works for all problems!

Which version of Excel are you using?

I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to using Excel but I was certified on the 2007 version in college and to be honest I don't remember as much as I should.

I'm trying to remember the exact wording but it should be pretty simple to establish sequential patterns on the spread sheet.

Are you capable of esablishing "rules" or is that beyond your knowledge of this program.

I will try and figure it out for you right now since I have the 2007 version on my work computer as well.

then highlight those three cells, and click on the black box on the bottom right of the selection and drag it down, and it should auto populate, but if you do it with one cell, it will just do
