New feature request

As a mod you have power. But i do not really like
that threads get LOCKED...
I know something has happend in the thread but
maybe a feature, that will "BLOCK" a member from
posting in that piticular thread would be awsome.
That would let the "thread" flow, without disturbance
from "trollposters" or ppl like that...AAAND, it would
keep posters from opening a NEW thread with a similar
topic, or perhaps even the same.....

We do have that, and it's called a Posting Ban. You acquire them by violating the T&C.

Threads that get locked are not because of a single member, but a consorted effort among many to derail the thread and create an atmosphere where it's impossible to continue because of the above.

We hate doing it, but sometimes, and usually they are only done for short ammounts of time while people cool down; lock outs are necessary.
