I personally don't mind the guy. From an outsiders point of view (Australia) he seems pretty human compared to other wannabe candidates.

Whether the Secret Service likes Obama or not they would still do their job.I have had the opportunity to know a couple of former Secret Service agents in my life and I can tell you that they are professionals through and through.Personal feelings would never come into play.But I agree that this photo was most definitely staged.

Yes, professionals. Like they were in Columbia, you know, hookers and all. It's all part of the job, right? Everybody from Obama's personal staff all the way to the SS and DHS have tarnished the institute of the Presidency. The tax cheats, hooker buyers, sexist dykes at the DHS and on and on. How anybody can even look at this presidency with an ounce of respect is beyond me. The entire "clan" is like a reality show, "Administrations Gone Wild".

Actually, no...Candidates get Secret Service protection as an outright given after they get the official nomination but it can and does happen much earlier in many cases. Obama actually seems to have set the record as people claimed at the time. He got his Secret Service detail as Candidate Obama clear back in May of 2007. The Democratic National Convention that nominated him was held in August of 2008. Quite a jump....but not unique. Herman Cain got his detail assigned in November of 2011...for his remaining time as a viable candidate. It's just not a safe world to be run for President out there anymore.

Obama gets SS protection in May of 2007

Cain gets protection in November of 2011.

Every 4 years, We all weigh our choices. this guy just slightly misunderstood the meaning.

Human beings are imperfect.Mistakes will be made.But I stand by my earlier statement.The Secret Service is a professional organization. Think about it.You are assigned to serve as protection for an individual you may or may not like personally,but you are expected to take a bullet for that person if necessary. Stressful enough if that person is well liked.But in the case of someone who is not very popular...Stress can make a person do things they would not normally do.

I think the real issue here is.

That two Men are in a picture together rubbing their genitals against each other for the camera.

How many Men do you see everyday hugging like this?

I thought so, none.

Maybe this is Obamas way of coming out of the closet?

The fact that they had met previously accounts for Obama coming through the front and shouting for the guy by name. I do think the lift was spontaneous. But it was a planned photo-op no doubt.

So I guess when Kennedy was shot and all those Secret Service agents stood down from there duties that day then they were professional through and through? The list of screw ups by the Secret Service is growing. Mind you, I do respect the agency and believe that most are outstanding people who do there jobs but these people are prone to make mistakes being human after all.

It seems genuine to me. Obama is a man's man. He is the everyday President and makes light of most things. This to him was probably a shock but something genuine to him and appears to be to me as well. It's all good to question things but there isn't a conspiracy behind everyhting so I tend to agree with you.

JFK was before I was born.I am not aware of the incident you speak of.Not surprising considering I grew up in Dallas.Believe it or not,we here in Texas are not proud of that whole time and other than a mention on the news and in papers on the anniversary,we tend to play down the facts of the case.While I recall being taught about a lot of history in school,JFK was not a major subject.At least not where I went to school.Therefore I will defer to you on that.But I will stand by my earlier statement.The Secret Service is made up of men and women who are,for the most part,utmost professionals.But as with any organization made up of imperfect human beings,there are going to be a few bad apples.

Hey no biggy..and it's my bad, not yours, if I came off harsher than I may have intended....or was strictly proper here. I guess I'm so used to having hard and fast counter-attacks thrown back, even over the top of linked and cited facts, that I've come to backstop my own points within the same note I'm making them. lol... Well, then your stance is right in line with what I said. Shame about not knowing more about the secret service agents who were told they were not needed on there detail the day of the JFK Assassination. They should have insisted. Which means that someone within there ranks dropped the ball that day.

On a side note. Texas gets a bad rap for that situation and in fact, it was Texas Law Enforcement who pursued the investigation with the most vigilance that day and the few proceeding it but was undermined by the Feds at that time. But I digress. It was a major stain on the Secret Service all around and it was deflected by blaming Texas authorities in most cases. If you are interested then read up on it.
