Two individuals on a mission.................one of them is the latest star of a "Anime reality" craze that is currently sweeping China and Japan. The other individual is an amazing artist that goes a long way in backing up claims that crop circles are the work of terrestrials.

1. Ms Tina Leopard....

There’s a new fashion trend sweeping across China – the anime look. It started about 1 year ago, when a girl going by the name of KOKO uploaded photos and videos showing her thin body, pointy chin and disproportionately large eyes. It turned out she used all kinds of makeup tricks to achieve her anime look, and her photos were apparently also altered in Photoshop, but that didn’t seem to matter much to people who wanted to look like the characters in popular Japanese cartoons. And while some of them actually look pretty cool, others are just plain freaky. Case in point, Tina Leopard, a young Chinese model whose extreme facial features have often been compared to those of an alien.

News are Weird

2. Mr Simon Beck....

They look like something aliens might have created, but the large-scale snow circles spread around the Les Arcs sky resort, in the French Alps, are actually the work of one man – British artist Simon Beck.

Using an orienteering compass, measuring tape and a pair of snowshoes, Simon Beck turns the snow into geometrically-perfect immaculate masterpieces. His intricate prints are huge, often spanning the equivalent size of six football fields, but while you’d be tempted to think Beck needs at least several days to complete just one of these patterns, he really only needs about 10 hours, on average.

They're part of the whole ANIME craze if memory serves. Those two are just taking it a little farther.

The pictures of the girl are photoshopped to excentuate "anime" festures

Might as well include THIS too.

But seriously, tons of people have tons of unique looks, qualities and abilities.

Yep - The "reality" phase that Anime has taken is huge in Japan and China at the moment........check out this thread from last week about (amongst other things) a Japanese Lass making the headlines in her country.

Understood - the point here though is about the craze and the extremes these people are going to in order to achieve social status in those countries - photoshop is mentioned extensively in this and other articles but it is going beyond that now - check the Japanese girl out in the link I provided in the post above^^^^^^^^^.

Simon Beck is very well known in artistic circles (pun intended) and his work is very impressive for one person to achieve.

No offense but how old are you?

I know for a fact that Anime has been very popular in Japan for decades....
Maybe in China it just caught on fairly recently but not everywhere else and esp not just caught on in Japan.

Some of my favorites include but not limited to...

My immediate thoughts were, ........totally photoshopped, even after reading about the make-up, but then I found this

Now perhaps there are video cameras that can distort or maybe this is a robot (they can be very lifelike these days) Strange she doesn't speak and only smiles. Anyway, what do you think?

Weird-o-meter alert. A lot of this stuff is beyond me these dayz. Being an old Sailor, Tattoo's are about my limit. Check out this..........I mean WTF?

Japanese model Ana Amemiya is now quite famous in her country for always wearing an anime mask on her head, whether she’s at photo shoots or on stage. Nothing more to say - the pics tell it all.

Rather strange, how does she manage to see where she is going and how can she eat and talk?? She seems to do a lot of soft porn shots when modelling, maybe that is why she has the mask, so her parents don't killer for dishonouring the family. Also perhaps it is a mad gimmick to get fame/money and still be able to walk down the street unrecognised when she wants to.

WTF did I just watch ?

Could be the result of an enormous amount of plastic surgery. That might explain her inability to open her mouth.

All this stuff means one thing for me - SHALLOW !

Who cares what you look like if you've got a peanut for a brain.

Yes it is very strange indeed, that is why I wondered if perhaps it was a robot or something. Look how realistic these are

Freaky stuff.

I don't think they'll ever be able to replicate a human eye perfectly because the eyes reflect the nature of our soul.

That reminds me of the movie Blade Runner and how he (Harrison Ford) would use the eye test to detect a replicant.

Thanks for sharing.
