One of the greatest voices in rock music history. Even if one doesn't love Queen, one has to admit that this man was a rare talent.

Happy birthday Mr Mercury!

Would have been 66? Wow!
First record I ever had, bought for a Christmas pressie with one of those dinky little pink record players you could stack records on.

Happy Birthday ya old Queen.

Agreed! He had a range of 5 octaves! Quite a feat. It's no wonder that their song, Bohemian Rhapsody, was rated the UK's number one favorite song of all time and they had platinum albums. They were really talented, especially Freddie.

God almighty, I miss him. Even as a child before Bohemian Rhapsody was released, I was kinda captivated by him, and oddly enough I've been thinking today about that sketch he did with Kenny Everett....absolute genius, and it still has me in fits. Will see if I can find it. There will never ever be another talent like his.
